The Alabama Crimson Tide women's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity team representing the University of Alabama. The Alabama Crimson Tide competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Home games are played at the Alabama Soccer Stadium on the University of Alabama campus. Wes Hart is the current head coach of the Crimson Tide, a position he has occupied since 2015.
The inaugural season for women's soccer at the University of Alabama was in 1986, with Janko Emedi being the program's first coach. In the program's second year of existence with Coach Emedi, a winning record of 9–4–1 was achieved. Soccer at the university was absent between 1989 and 1993, until Don Staley was hired as head coach in 1994 to re-establish a soccer program at the University of Alabama. The University of Alabama Soccer Field hosted its first soccer match on October 2, 1994, against Furman University. In 2004, the team moved to the new Alabama Soccer Complex. The Crimson Tide welcomed a new coach in 2008, when Todd Bramble was hired. Bramble resigned in 2015 and was replaced by Wes Hart.

The Alabama Soccer Stadium was built in 2008. The stadium features a high-definition scoreboard that was transferred from Bryant–Denny Stadium. Unique among collegiate soccer stadiums, the large-sized scoreboard at the Alabama Soccer Stadium provides graphics for player introductions, game replays, and customized videos. Its seating capacity is 1,500.

The Alabama Crimson Tide refers to the intercollegiate athletic varsity teams that represent the University of Alabama, located in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Spirit Squads compete in the UCA and UDA College National Championships.
The Alabama Crimson Tide football program represents the University of Alabama in the sport of American football. The team competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The team's head coach is Nick Saban, who has led the Tide to six national championships over his tenure. The Crimson Tide is among the most storied and decorated football programs in NCAA history. Since beginning play in 1892, the program claims 18 national championships, including 13 wire-service national titles in the poll-era, and five other titles before the poll-era. From 1958 to 1982, the team was led by Hall of Fame coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, who won six national titles with the program. It was not until 2009 that an Alabama player received a Heisman Trophy, when running back Mark Ingram II became the university's first winner. In 2015, Derrick Henry became the university's second Heisman winner. The Crimson Tide won back to back Heisman trophies in 2020 and 2021, with DeVonta Smith and Bryce Young.
Charles Martin Newton was an American collegiate basketball player, coach, and athletics administrator. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Transylvania University from 1956 to 1968, the University of Alabama from 1968 to 1980, and Vanderbilt University from 1981 to 1989, compiling a career college basketball coaching record of 509–375. He was chairman of the NCAA Rules committee from 1979 to 1985 and was the president of USA Basketball from 1992 to 1996.
The Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team represents the University of Alabama in NCAA Division I men's basketball. The program plays in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). In the conference it trails only long-time basketball powerhouse Kentucky in SEC tournament titles, is third behind Kentucky and Arkansas in total wins, and is second behind Kentucky, in SEC regular season conference titles. Alabama was retroactively recognized as the pre-NCAA tournament national champion for the 1929–30 season by the Premo-Porretta Power Poll. The team has appeared in the NCAA tournament 23 times, most recently in 2023. Alabama's current head coach is Nate Oats.
The 2002 Alabama Crimson Tide football team represented the University of Alabama in the 2002 NCAA Division I-A football season. It was the Crimson Tide's 108th overall season, 70th as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and its 11th within the SEC Western Division. The team was led by head coach Dennis Franchione, in his second year, and played their home games at Bryant–Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They finished the season with a record of 10–3 to finish in first place in the SEC West; however, the team was ineligible to compete in the 2002 SEC Championship Game or a bowl game due to a two-year postseason ban imposed as part of the penalty for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) violations.
Sarah Patterson is a former collegiate gymnastics coach. She served as the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide women's gymnastics team from 1979 to 2014. During her tenure, she built the program at the University of Alabama into one of the most successful in the history of college gymnastics.

Along with most other Alabama athletic teams, the baseball team participates in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference. The team plays its home games on campus at Sewell–Thomas Stadium.
Mal Mathad Moore was an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the athletic director at the University of Alabama from 1999 to 2013. On November 23, 1999, he was hired as athletic director after spending almost thirty years in other areas with the university. As a player, coach, and director of athletics, Moore was part of ten national championship football teams. In May 2012, he was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. Moore died March 30, 2013, in Durham, North Carolina.

It is currently led by head coach Patrick Murphy and assistant coaches Alyson Habetz and Stephanie VanBrakle. The team plays its home games at the Rhoads Stadium located on the university's campus. The Alabama Crimson Tide softball team won its first national championship in 2012, after they defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the championship series of the Women's College World Series.

Dana Duckworth, née Dana Dobransky, is an American former college gymnastics coach and former college gymnast. She was the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide women's gymnastics team of the University of Alabama until May 2022, having succeeded Sarah Patterson in July 2014. Duckworth previously served as an assistant coach under Patterson for fifteen years, after having competed for Patterson's Crimson Tide gymnastics team for four years as an undergraduate.
Todd Bramble is an American soccer coach. He is currently the deputy athletic director for intercollegiate sports at George Mason.
