Tonttu Toljanterin joulupulma (1998)
On December 1 Toljander accidentally hits Santa Claus with ladder, causing him to lose his memory. Toljander tries to hide this by keeping everyone away from Santa Claus and doing all Santa's work. Toljander falls in love with Doctor Pancake, but is too shy to say anything. When the last moment approaches and Santa Claus should leave for his trip to distribute the presents, Toljander accidentally hits Santa Claus again with the ladder and he gets his memory back.

Tonttu Toljanterin Tonttu-TV (2003)
This season marks the return to the usual advent calendar format.
Elf Hilda complains that the kids are going wild. Santa Claus starts a new TV program that does not mention the word "Christmas". "Let Christmas come into our hearts little by little, day by day and by night", says Santa Claus. Toljander is selected as the star of the show.

Mrs. Claus gets sick with sleepbug (unipöpö), which affects elves who have been working overtime for over 500 years. Toljander takes Mrs. Claus into his sleep place, and tells no one to enter, claiming that a Christmas bogeyman lives there. Toljander takes care of all the Mrs. Claus's work, and always comes up with a reason why Mrs. Claus is not reachable. He does not want create panic when they hear she is sick.

Santa and Mrs. Claus wait for a specialist to arrive to help them modernize Christmas. Elf Toljander is horrified by the idea; there is nothing wrong with Christmas as it is.

Toljander is bit by an angry bee (äkäampiainen), that causes him to enter the naughty age. Toljander tries to hide his naughty age from the other elfs, since it's not usual for an elf more than 100 years old to be affected by it.

Elf Toljander has to take the role of the elf that usually checks if the other elves have been naughty or nice, when he discovers the map of hiding places for the elf that usually does the job. He also has to investigate why Santa's toy storage has been unusually empty this year.

Santa vs. the Snowman is a 1997 American animated Christmas comedy television special created by Steve Oedekerk and produced by O Entertainment. It originally aired on ABC on December 12, 1997, following The Online Adventures of Ozzie the Elf.
Motion pictures featuring Santa Claus constitute their own subgenre of the Christmas film genre. Early films of Santa revolve around similar simple plots of Santa's Christmas Eve visit to children. In 1897, in a short film called Santa Claus Filling Stockings, Santa Claus is simply filling stockings from his pack of toys. Another film called Santa Claus and the Children was made in 1898. A year later, a film directed by George Albert Smith titled Santa Claus was created. In this picture, Santa Claus enters the room from the fireplace and proceeds to trim the tree. He then fills the stockings that were previously hung on the mantle by the children. After walking backward and surveying his work, he suddenly darts at the fireplace and disappears up the chimney.
Fred Claus is a 2007 American Christmas comedy film directed by David Dobkin, screenplay and a story by Dan Fogelman and Jessie Nelson, and starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, Miranda Richardson, John Michael Higgins, Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz, Kathy Bates, Trevor Peacock, Ludacris, and Kevin Spacey. The film was first announced in October 2005 with Mike Mitchell attached to direct. The film was released in the United States on November 9, 2007 by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is loosely based on the poem "A legend of Santa and his brother Fred" written by Donald Henkel. It received negative reviews from critics and grossed $97 million worldwide against the production budget of $100 million.

The Secret World of Santa Claus is a French and Canadian children's animated television show. It is syndicated to several countries worldwide, including Teletoon in Canada, and Super RTL in Germany, and is generally seen every December during the holiday season. On December 25, 1999, Christmas Day, The Secret World of Santa Claus marathon took place from 6:00am to 7:00pm. As of 2013, it has been released on 2 DVDs from Cinedigm in the US.

In English-speaking cultures, a Christmas elf is a diminutive elf that lives with Santa Claus at the North Pole and acts as his helper. Christmas elves are usually depicted as green- or red-clad, with large, pointy ears and wearing pointy hats. They are most often depicted as humanoids, but sometimes as furry mammals with tails. Santa's elves are often said to make the toys in Santa's workshop and take care of his reindeer, among other tasks.

The film stars Anna Kendrick as Noelle Kringle, the daughter of Kris Kringle. It also stars Bill Hader, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Billy Eichner, Julie Hagerty, and Shirley MacLaine. In the film, when Noelle's brother Nick is stressed from all the pressure of taking over for their father, he leaves and does not return. She must find her brother and bring him back in time for Christmas. It was filmed from October 2017 to January 2018 in British Columbia and Woodstock, Georgia.
Santa Claus and the Magic Drum is a 51 minute long Finnish-Hungarian animation released in 1996. The story is based on a 1995 children's book of the same name by Mauri Kunnas. The film has been recorded in Finnish, English (British) and Swedish. It was made for TV broadcasting and was first shown on Christmas Eve 1996, and has been broadcast on YLE TV2 nearly every Christmas Eve since. Santa Claus and the Magic Drum has been sold to over 40 countries.
The Magic Crystal, also released as Santa's Magic Crystal and The Elf that Rescued Christmas in the UK, is a 2011 Finnish-Belgian computer-animated Christmas film directed by Antti Haikala from a screenplay by Haikala, Bob Swain, Dan Wicksman, Nuria Wicksman and Alessandro Liggieri. The film is part of a unified multimedia concept developed by Mikael Wahlfors, which also includes Andrew Bernhardt's Special Patrol children's books, the Italian-produced animated series Red Caps, and the mobile app World Polar Heroes. The Magic Crystal was produced by the Epidem ZOT, Aranéo and Skyline Animation.
