Hope 7 was a pop rock band that performed together from 2002 to 2005. The band members consisted of Kristi McClave (lead singer), Dave Noble (guitarist), Chevy Martinez (bassist), and Chase Duddy (drummer).
Performing since the age of six, McClave was discovered by record producer Rodney Jerkins. McClave was then chosen by Antonina Armato and Tim James to be a featured vocalist for the pop group 3Gs. They later recorded the song "Crush" for The Princess Diaries soundtrack. However, finding the right mix of singers for the group proved difficult, and 3Gs eventually disbanded. McClave continued to work with some of the same producers, leading to a more rock-oriented sound. McClave provided the track, "Breakthrough", for the Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde soundtrack. The artist for that particular track was Hope 7, even though the band's lineup was not final at the time.[ citation needed ] McClave was signed to Hollywood Records and toured with the MTV TRL tour.
In early 2004, Noble, Martinez and Duddy joined the band to fully form Hope 7. The song "Breakthrough" was also featured in The Cheetah Girls soundtrack, and the music video for the song was played on Disney Channel, increasing the band's popularity. The band toured with the ATV Pro Volleyball tournament and also released the song "I Want Everything", which was featured in the soundtrack for the 2004 film Sleepover and the 2005 Disney Channel film Go Figure .
The band released their self-titled album, Hope 7 , on March 15, 2005 with Trauma Records. It was their only album release.
Hope 7 disbanded after the release of their first album. They are no longer performing together.

Gin Blossoms is an American alternative rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. They rose to prominence following the 1992 release of their first major label album, New Miserable Experience, and the first single released from that album, "Hey Jealousy". "Hey Jealousy" became a Top 25 hit and went gold, and New Miserable Experience eventually went quadruple platinum; four other charting singles were released from the album. The band's follow-up album, Congratulations I'm Sorry (1996), went platinum and the single "As Long as It Matters" was nominated for a Grammy Award. Gin Blossoms broke up in 1997. Since reuniting in 2001, the band has released Major Lodge Victory in 2006, No Chocolate Cake in 2010, and Mixed Reality in 2018.
Wild Orchid was an American girl group consisting of Stacy Ferguson, Stefanie Ridel, and Renee Sandstrom. Beginning under the name "NRG" in 1990, the group changed their name to Wild Orchid in 1992 and signed with RCA Records in 1994. The group released two albums, earning Billboard Music Awards nominations with their debut. In 2001, Ferguson left the group. Sandstrom and Ridel continued as a duo, releasing Wild Orchid's final album Hypnotic in 2003. In 2013, Us Weekly named the group number 18 of the 25 'Best Girl Groups of All Time'.
Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band composed of Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace that formed in New York City in 1993. The band's earliest albums were noted for their noise rock influences, though their sound evolved by the early 2000s with the releases of Misery is a Butterfly (2004) and 23 (2007), which both incorporated elements of dream pop, shoegaze and other genres. They have released nine regular studio albums and have toured internationally.
A-Teens were a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm. The group was formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 as an ABBA tribute group called ABBA-Teens which was later renamed A-Teens. The band members were Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald, and Sara Lumholdt. The group is best known for the singles "Mamma Mia" (1999) and "Upside Down" (2000), both of which were hits worldwide. The group was particularly successful in their home country where they amassed ten top 10 hit singles on the Swedish charts.
Superchick, originally known as Superchic[k], was an American Christian rock/alternative pop band that debuted in 1999 and disbanded in 2013. Their music incorporated various styles such as pop, punk, rock, rap, and R&B. Their sound has been compared to mainstream artists like No Doubt and Avril Lavigne only with a heavier sound. Superchick has had five songs reach No. 1 on music charts, and their song "Stand in the Rain" held the No. 1 spot for nine weeks on R&R Christian Hit Radio (CHR) chart in 2006/2007.
Jesse McCartney is an American actor and singer. He achieved fame in the late 1990s on the daytime drama All My Children as JR Chandler. He later joined boy band Dream Street, and eventually branched out into a solo musical career. Additionally, McCartney has appeared on shows such as Law & Order: SVU, Summerland, and Greek. McCartney also is known for lending his voice as Theodore in Alvin and the Chipmunks and its sequels, as well as voicing JoJo McDodd in Horton Hears a Who, Robin/Nightwing in Young Justice, and Roxas and Ventus in the video game series Kingdom Hearts developed by Square Enix.
BBMak are a British band consisting of Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally. Formed in Liverpool in 1996, they sold over three million albums worldwide between 1999 and 2003. The band first achieved success when their single "Back Here" gained popularity in radio stations in Asia and they later signed with Hollywood Records in the U.S. The band reworked their debut album Sooner or Later for an American release in 2000, and the album charted at number 38 on the Billboard 200 chart with "Back Here" becoming a top 20 hit. BBMak's success in the American market helped the band finally break through in their home country.
Reba Sabrina Hinojos, known professionally as Sabrina Bryan, is an American dancer, choreographer, actress and singer. She is best known as a member of the girl group The Cheetah Girls, and starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name and its sequels, The Cheetah Girls 2 and The Cheetah Girls: One World. Before she appeared on television, Bryan was a dancer, and trained at Hart Academy of Dance, located in La Habra, California.
Andrew Michael Edgar Seeley is a Canadian actor, singer, songwriter and dancer. He has recorded many songs for the Walt Disney Company. He danced as a child in Ontario until he was about preteen age and then moved to Florida.
Everlife was an American pop rock band made up of three sisters, Amber, Sarah, and Julia Ross who formed in early 2001.
The Cheetah Girls is the soundtrack album to the 2003 Walt Disney Pictures movie of the same name. It was released on August 12, 2003 on compact disc and audio cassette by Walt Disney Records. The album was produced by Antonina Armato, Ray Cham, Tim James and executive produced by Debra Martin Chase and Whitney Houston. The album features appearances from Sonic Chaos, Char, and Hope 7.
LMNT was an American boy band that was active from 2000 to 2003. The group's name was selected by the band's original line-up from contest entries solicited by Teen People magazine. It at first consisted of three singers who had all competed on the 2000 series Making the Band. A pre-fame Matthew Morrison joined the group in 2001, making it a quartet; but he left after a year and was replaced by Jonas Persch. This lineup recorded the band's sole album, All Sides (2002).
Hope 7 is the self-titled debut album from the pop rock band Hope 7. The album was released on March 15, 2005, and is the band's only album release to date. The tracks on this album were mainly written by Antonina Armato and Tim James (with the exception of tracks 3, which was written by Aaron Dudley and track 7 (which was written by Kristi McClave and Dave Noble. McClave also collaborated on the writing of track 8.
The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the Jonas Brothers moved to Little Falls, New Jersey, in 2005, where they wrote their first record that made its Hollywood Records release. They starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season. The band have released six albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), Happiness Begins (2019), and The Album (2023).
Joseph Adam Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the pop rock band the Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick. The group released their debut studio album It's About Time through the Columbia label in 2006, which failed to achieve commercial success. After signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record. The band became prominent figures on the Disney Channel during this time, gaining a large following through the network: they appeared in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) as well as two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).
The Cheetah Girls was an American girl group formed in 2003, consisting of Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan as full members, and plus Raven-Symoné as a member only on soundtrack albums. The group was created by Disney, and was made famous by the eponymous Disney Channel original film and its sequels, The Cheetah Girls 2 and The Cheetah Girls: One World. The group has released three studio albums, Cheetah-licious Christmas, In Concert: The Party's Just Begun Tour, and TCG plus several RIAA certified Platinum albums including, The Cheetah Girls, The Cheetah Girls 2, and The Cheetah Girls: One World. All of their albums and soundtracks reached the Billboard 200. The soundtrack to their first film sold over 2 million copies.
Allstar Weekend was an American pop rock band based in Poway, California. The band gained its popularity from the Disney Channel television network. The band consisted of lead singer Zachary "Zach" Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng, drummer Michael Martinez, and lead guitarist Nathan Darmody. In September 2011, guitarist Nathan Darmody left the band and later pursued his solo career. They were best known for the singles "Dance Forever", "Come Down with Love", and "A Different Side of Me". They disbanded on August 4, 2013.
Sonny with a Chance is the soundtrack album from the Disney Channel Original Series of the same name, released on October 5, 2010 by Walt Disney Records, during season two. It features lead vocals from American actors and singers Demi Lovato, Sterling Knight, Tiffany Thornton, and pop rock band Allstar Weekend.
Lemonade Mouth is a soundtrack album by Bridgit Mendler and other members of cast of the film of the same name, released on April 12, 2011, by Walt Disney Records. The soundtrack peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, number three on the US Top Digital Albums and topped the US Top Soundtracks and US Kid Albums. Elsewhere, it peaked at number 71 in Australia, number 38 in Austria, number 25 in Belgium (Flanders), number 100 in Belgium (Wallonia), number 79 in Netherlands, number 26 in Poland and at number 38 in Spain. In the 2011 year-end charts, the soundtrack ranked at number 87 on the US Billboard 200, number 7 on the US Top Soundtracks and managed to make it into the top 3 of the US Kid Albums. The singles "Somebody", "Determinate" and "Breakthrough" peaked at number 89, 51 and 88 on the US Billboard Hot 100. As of September 2012, the soundtrack had sold 402,000 copies.
Forever in Your Mind (FIYM) is an American pop boy band formed in 2013, consisting of Emery Kelly, Ricky Garcia, and Liam Attridge. Their debut extended play, FIYM, was released through Hollywood Records on July 1, 2016.
