ORBO & The Longshots is a rock & roll band from Bergen, Norway. The band was established in the year 2000 by singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Ole Reinert Berg-Olsen aka ORBO. [1] [2]

After ten years of endless driving, wet asphalt and band car on high octane band has learned the craft from the ground. To date, they have released 6 albums, and won the Norwegian equivalent to the American Grammy Award, Spellemannsprisen for their 2008 album "High Roller". [3] The bands' releases can be found on Blue Mood Records / Grappa and Columbia. [1]

Motorpsycho Norwegian rock band from Trondheim

Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. Their music can generally be defined as progressive or psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from alternative, jazz, post-rock, pop, country and many other musical styles. The members of the band are Bent Sæther, Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan and Tomas Järmyr (drums). Until March 2005, Håkon Gebhardt was the band's drummer. A press release concerning his departure can be found on the Unofficial website. From December 2007 to May 2016 Kenneth Kapstad was the drummer of the band, being replaced by Tomas Järmyr, who joined in early 2017.

Madrugada (band) Norwegian rock band

Madrugada is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in the town of Stokmarknes in 1993. The key band members included Sivert Høyem (vocals), Robert Burås (guitar) and Frode Jacobsen (bass). After Burås' death on 12 July 2007, Høyem and Jacobsen decided to finish recording what was to be their final album with the original lineup. On 21 January 2008, the band released Madrugada and announced that they would split after one last tour. They performed their final concert of this tour on 15 November 2008.

Knut Reiersrud Musical artist

Knut Reiersrud is a Norwegian blues guitarist. His work also incorporates elements of Norwegian traditional music and African music. Reiersrud has recorded and played with David Lindley, the Blind Boys Of Alabama, Rickie Lee Jones, Nina Hagen and Swedish blues musician Sven Zetterberg. He has also numerous collaborations with Middle East performers like Rim Banna and Mahsa Vahdat. He lives in Oslo. He has collaborated extensively with the Norwegian organist Iver Kleive. He is lead guitarist and one of the original members of Cloudberry Cream.

"Horse to the Water" is a song written by George Harrison and his son Dhani. It was originally performed by Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring Harrison, on the album Small World, Big Band Recorded on 2 October 2001, the song is Harrison's last performance on a record. Harrison only performed vocals on the track, as he was too weak from battling cancer to play guitar, and he died just over eight weeks later on 29 November. He listed the song's publisher as "R.I.P. Music Ltd" instead of his usual music company Harrisongs.

The Grand is a Norwegian alternative rock band, formed in Oslo, Norway in 2006. The group consists of former blues guitar wunderkind and lead singer Amund Maarud, his younger brother Henrik Maarud on drums, bassist Per Tobro and keyboardist/percussionist Eirik Tovsrud Knutsen. The Grand gave their first performance in April 2007, before releasing their debut EP the same month.
