The Servants / MPR (French : Les Serviteurs / MPR) is a political coalition, made up of The Servants and Let's March for the Rebirth (French: En Marche pour la Renaissance), which has one seat in the Parliament of Senegal. [1]

Parliamentary elections were held in Senegal on 3 June 2007. They had originally been planned to be held together with the presidential election on 25 February 2007, but were postponed. Fourteen parties or coalitions participated in the elections, but they were marked by a major opposition boycott. The ruling Sopi Coalition won 131 seats, including all 90 of the seats elected by majority voting.

The National Patriotic Union/Tekki is a political party in Senegal led by founder Mamadou Lamine Diallo. At the legislative elections of 3 June 2007, the party won 1.29% of the popular vote and 1 out of 150 seats. Tekki won one seat in Dakar, for leader Mamadou Diallo, during the 2017 parliamentary election, as part of the opposition coalition Manko Wattu Sénégal, affiliated with former President Abdoulaye Wade.

The Alliance for the Republic–Yakaar is a political party in Senegal. It was formed by former Prime Minister and current president Macky Sall after his departure from the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) in December 2008. Macky Sall was also APR's candidate in the 2012 presidential election in which he defeated incumbent President Abdoulaye Wade. APR was joined by several former members of the PDS.

Ousmane Sonko is a Senegalese politician and former tax inspector. Sonko was the PASTEF candidate in the 2019 presidential election, ultimately placing third. A major figure of the Senegalese opposition against incumbent president Macky Sall, his arrest and subsequent investigation by authorities from 2019 following sexual assault accusations have triggered mass protests and rioting across Senegal. In June 2023, he was sentenced to two years in prison, and in July 2023, his party PASTEF was dissolved by the Senegalese government.

The party has entered into an alliance with the opposition Yewwi Askan Wi coalition to form a majority in the 2022 parliamentary election. As a result of the election the coalition obtained 24 seats becoming the third largest group in the National Assembly.
