The United States Women's National Ball Hockey Team is the women's national ball hockey team of United States, and a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF).

History

At the 2017 ISBHF Worlds, the US earned their first-ever podium finish. In the semifinals, they defeated the two-time defending champion gold medalists Canada in a 3-2 tally. [1] Becky Dobson would be credited with the game-winning goal. [2] Advancing to the gold medal game against host country Czech Republic, the US forced overtime, although the result was a 4-3 loss. [3]

Of note, the 2017 United States roster also featured three players from the NWHL. Among them were Cherie Stewart, who played in the inaugural season of the New York Riveters, Amber Moore, another Riveters alum, plus Paige Harrington, who captured the 2017 Isobel Cup championship as a member of the Buffalo Beauts.

Jamie Lee Rattray is a Canadian women's ice hockey player for the Markham Thunder.

In addition, she has competed for the Ottawa Gee Gees women's ice hockey program in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, while competing for the Canada women's national ball hockey team at the 2011 Street and Ball Hockey World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. In the 2013 CWHL Draft, she was selected by the Montreal Stars.

Lucie Povová is a Czech ice hockey player who won a gold medal with the Czech Republic at the 2011 IIHF Division II Worlds. She was part of the Czech team that competed at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Hockey Championships in Ottawa.

The Canada women's national ball hockey team is the women's national ball hockey team of Canada, and a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF).

Petra Herzigová is a Czech ice hockey and ball hockey player, currently playing with the women's representative ice hockey team of HC Příbram in the Czech Women's Ice Hockey Extraliga and with the ball hockey team SHM HK Avir Praha in the Czech Women's Ball Hockey Extraliga. Alexandra "Lexie" Hoffmeyer is a former women's ice hockey player. Among her career accomplishments, she is a Clarkson Cup champion and earned a gold medal with Canada women's national ball hockey team at the 2015 ISBHF World Championships in Zug, Switzerland.

Alicia Furletti-Blomberg is a Canadian ball hockey player and member of the Canadian national ball hockey team. She is a three-time Ball Hockey World Championship gold medalist with the Canadian team, winning in 2013, 2015 and 2022. During 2012 to 2015, Blomberg competed in the women's division of Red Bull Crashed Ice, capturing a bronze medal in 2014.

Jenny Brine is a former women’s ice hockey player. Having played at the NCAA level with the Harvard Crimson women's ice hockey program, she was also a member of the Toronto Furies from 2010-13. Brine would also appear with the Canada women's national ball hockey team at three ISBHF World Championships.

The 2017 Ball Hockey World Championship will be the 12th ball hockey world championship, and will be held in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The tournament began on 1 June 2017, and the gold medal game was played on 10 June 2017. Slovakia entered the tournament as the defending champions. The Canadian women's national ball hockey team with the bronze medal in women's play, while the United States qualified for the gold medal game for the first time in tournament history.

The Lebanese national ball hockey team is the national ball hockey team of Lebanon. The team is controlled by the Lebanese Hockey Association and a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF).

The 2019 Ball Hockey World Championship was the 13th ball hockey world championship, and was held in Košice, Slovakia. The tournament began on 14 June 2019, with the gold medal game to be played on 22 June 2019. The Canada women's national ball hockey team defeated the United States women's national ball hockey team in the women's final to capture the gold medal, while the Czech Republic emerged with the bronze.

The 2022 Women's Ball Hockey World Championship was the eighth women's ball hockey tournament to be held as part of the Ball Hockey World Championship. It was organized by the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation in collaboration with the Canadian Ball Hockey Association and was held at the Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The tournament began on 21 June 2022 and medal games were played 27 June 2022.
