The Autostrada A3 is an autostrada 53.6 kilometres (33.3 mi) long in Southern Italy, which runs from Naples to Salerno, in the Campania region.
The autostrade are roads forming the Italian national system of motorways. The total length of the system is about 7,016 kilometres (4,360 mi), as of 30 July 2022. To these data are added 13 motorway spur routes, which extend for 355 kilometres (221 mi).

The Autostrada A4, or Autostrada Serenissima, is an autostrada 523.1 kilometres (325.0 mi) long in northern Italy which connects Turin and Trieste via Milan and Venice crossing the entire Po Valley from west to east. The city of Venice originally formed a bottleneck on the A4, but is now bypassed by the Passante di Mestre. The A4 passes just north of the city of Milan, where it is toll-free.

Ponte Morandi, officially Viadotto Polcevera, was a road viaduct in Genoa, Liguria, Italy, constructed between 1963 and 1967 along the A10 motorway over the Polcevera River, from which it derived its official name. It connected Genoa's Sampierdarena and Cornigliano districts across the Polcevera Valley. The bridge was widely called "Ponte Morandi" after its structural designer, engineer Riccardo Morandi.

On 14 August 2018, around 11:36 local time a section of the Ponte Morandi in Genoa, Liguria, Italy collapsed during a rainstorm, killing forty-three people. The remains were demolished in June 2019. The replacement bridge, the Genoa-Saint George Bridge was inaugurated a year later.
