The 2011–12 New Zealand V8 season was the thirteenth season of the series, under the NZV8 guise. The season began at Pukekohe on 4 November 2011 and finished at the Hamilton Street Circuit on 22 April 2012 after six championship meetings and one non-championship event.

The New Zealand Touring Cars Championship is a New Zealand-based motorsport category of touring car racing. MotorSport New Zealand, New Zealand's national governing and sanctioning body for motorsport, awarded the category "New Zealand Touring Car Championship" title status in 1996. Since being awarded national championship title status, drivers and teams across New Zealand had raced in what was at the time New Zealand's premier motorsport category. Team Kiwi Racing is a racing team that previously competed in the Australian V8 Supercar series, the Australian Carrera Cup Series, The New Zealand 2.0ltr Touring Car Championship, The NZV8 Championship and BMW Championship Series. The team has since returned at much reduced scale, competing in one make series' in New Zealand while also supporting a number of up and coming young Kiwi drivers from grass root level motorsport through to domestic and international competition.

Pukekohe Park is a horse racing, motor racing, and community events facility located in Pukekohe, New Zealand, approximately 40 km (25 mi) south of the Auckland CBD, in the Auckland Region of the North Island. The venue, owned by Counties Racing Club Inc. is used seven days a week for horse training, driver training, motorsport events, cycling and various events and functions.

The 2009–10 New Zealand V8 season was the eleventh season of the series, under the NZV8 guise. The season began at Pukekohe on 8 November 2009 and finished at the Hamilton Street Circuit on 18 April 2010 after six championship meetings, and a season-ending non-championship event.

The 2010–11 New Zealand V8 season was the twelfth season of the series, under the NZV8 guise. The season began at Pukekohe on 5 November 2010 and finished at the Hamilton Street Circuit on 17 April 2011 after seven championship meetings. John McIntyre won the championship by 81 points over 2nd placed Craig Baird, 3rd placed Andy Booth, and 4th placed Angus Fogg.

The 2012 V8SuperTourer season is a motor racing championship for touring cars held in New Zealand. It began on 17 February at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park and ended on the 25 November at Powerbuilt Tools Raceway, Ruapuna after seven rounds. All cars use a chassis built by Paul Ceprnich of Pace Innovations in Australia, and are powered a Mosler 7-litre engine.

The V8SuperTourers Championship was a motor racing series in New Zealand which started in 2012 and folded in 2015. The cars were then absorbed into the NZ Touring Cars championship.

The 2013 New Zealand V8 season was the fourteenth season of the series, under the NZV8 guise. The season began at Teretonga Park on 11 January and finished at the Pukekohe Park Raceway ITM Auckland 400 V8 Supercars event on 14 April after five championship meetings. The TLX Championship was won by Jason Bargwanna and the TL Championship was won by AJ Lauder.

The 2013 V8SuperTourer season is a motor racing championship for touring cars held in New Zealand. The season started on 16 February at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park and ended on 8 December at Pukekohe Park Raceway after seven rounds. All cars used a chassis built by Paul Ceprnich of Pace Innovations in Australia, and were powered by a Chevrolet LS7 7-litre engine.

Andre Emil Heimgartner is a New Zealand motor-racing driver who currently competes in the Repco Supercars Championship driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Brad Jones Racing.

The 2013–14 New Zealand V8 season was the fifteenth season of the series, under the NZV8 guise. The season began at the Thunder in the Park event at Pukekohe Park Raceway on 16 November 2013 and finished at the Pukekohe Park Raceway ITM Auckland 400 V8 Supercars event on 27 April after six championship meetings. Jason Bargwanna was the reigning TLX champion, and whilst AJ Lauder won the TL Championship, graduated into the TLX class to battle for the title. The TLX Championship eventually was won by Nick Ross and the TL Championship was won by Ian Booth.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2014–15 V8SuperTourer season</span>

The 2014–15 BNT NZ SuperTourers season was a motor racing championship for touring cars held in New Zealand. The season started on 27 September at Taupo Motorsport Park and ended on 12 April at Pukekohe Park Raceway. All cars used a chassis built by Paul Ceprnich of Pace Innovations in Australia, and were powered by a Chevrolet LS7 7-litre engine.

The 2017–18 NZ Touring Cars Championship is the nineteenth season of the series, and the third under the NZ Touring Cars name. The field comprises three classes racing on the same grid. Class one features both V8ST and NZV8 TLX cars. Class two and three consists of older NZV8 TL and varying touring cars.

The 2018–19 NZ Touring Cars Championship was the twentieth season of the series, and the fourth under the NZ Touring Cars name. The field consisted of two classes racing on the same grid. Class one featured both V8ST and NZV8 TLX cars. Class two consisted of older NZV8 TL cars. The series was won by Australian Jack Smith, with Justin Ashwell taking the Class Two championship.
