The 2012 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships were held from 23 to 27 August 2012 at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. [1] [2] [3] Pool swimming competition was conducted in a long course (50 metre) pool and open water swimming was conducted in the Pacific Ocean. [3]

Contents

Events were contested in a preliminaries-finals format with a maximum of two athletes per country eligible to compete in each the Championship Final and the Consolation Final. [3] [4]

The 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships were held from 23 to 26 August 2018 at Damodar Aquatic Centre in Suva, Fiji, and were co-hosted by Fiji Swimming and USA Swimming. Competition was conducted in a long course pool. Finals were classified as A-final and B-final with medalists determined from the A-final.

The 2022 Phillips 66 International Team Trials was held from April 26 to 30, 2022 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Contested swimming events were conducted in a 50-meter pool. At the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, he won gold medals in the 100 meter backstroke, 4×100 meter freestyle relay, 4×100 meter medley relay, and the 4×100 meter mixed medley relay.

Joshua Staples is an Australian competitive swimmer. He is the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific champion in the 400-metre freestyle, 800-metre freestyle, 1500-metre freestyle, and 4×200-metre freestyle relay. In 2022, he was part of a first sweep of all men's individual freestyle events at a single Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships by Australian swimmers, winning three of the six gold medals with Flynn Southam winning the other three.

Maximus Williamson is an American competitive swimmer. He is a 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships gold medalist in the 200-meter individual medley and silver medalist in the 200-meter freestyle, 400-meter individual medley, and 4×200-meter freestyle relay. In 2022, he became the fastest male American swimmer in history in the 15–16 age group in the long course 200-meter individual medley with a time of 1:59.01.

The 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships were held from 27 to 31 August 2014 in Maui, Hawaii, United States. Pool competition was conducted in a long course pool at Kihei Aquatic Center in Kihei, Hawaii and the open water marathons were contested at Ulua Beach in Wailea, Hawaii.

The 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships were held from 24 to 27 August 2016 at Lahaina Aquatic Center in Maui, Hawaii, United States. Competition was conducted in a long course pool with finals contested in an A-final and B-final format with medalists determined from the A-final. This continued the nomenclature used for the 2014 edition.

Airi Mitsui is a Japanese competitive swimmer. At the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, she won the gold medal in the 200 metre butterfly and silver medals in the 100 metre butterfly and 4×100 metre medley relay. At the 2022 World Short Course Championships, she placed sixth in the final of the 200 metre butterfly.
