Bajram Rexhepi, was a Kosovar politician who served as the first elected post-war prime minister and later as interior minister of Kosovo and as a member of the Kosovo Assembly. He was a member of the second largest political party in Kosovo, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is a political party in Kosovo. It was formed on 29 April 2001.

Bajram Kosumi is a Kosovar politician who served as the Prime Minister of Kosovo for nearly one year. He was nominated by Kosovan President Ibrahim Rugova and elected Prime Minister by the Kosovo Parliament on 23 March 2005 following his predecessor Ramush Haradinaj's indictment for war crimes and subsequent resignation. The politics of Kosovo takes place in a framework of a multi-party parliamentary representative democratic republic, whereby the President (Presidenti) is the head of state and the Prime Minister (Kryeministri) the head of government. Parliamentary elections are held every four years, the most recent in 2019.

Ramush Haradinaj is a Kosovar politician, leader of the AAK party, and was the 3rd Prime Minister of Kosovo. He is a former officer and leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), and previously served as Prime Minister of Kosovo between 2004 and 2005.

Second Haradinaj cabinet

The Haradinaj Cabinetde jure formed the government of Kosovo from 9 September 2017 upon the defeat of Isa Mustafa and the LA Coalition in the 2017 elections to 3 February 2020 following its defeat in the 2019 parliamentary election. The cabinet was made up of members of the PANA Coalition and some members of the opposition.

Indirect presidential elections will be held in Kosovo in February or March 2021, with a first, second or third round if necessary. The constitution states that the presidential election must be held 30 days before the end of the current president's term. They will be the fifth presidential elections.

The Kosovo-Montenegro border demarcation was a diplomatic agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro which was finalized in 2015 about the eventual borders of the two countries. Montenegro acquired its independence in 2006 and Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. As such, there was no border agreement between them. The diplomatic negotiations between the governments of Kosovo and Montenegro came under heavy criticism in both countries.

Luan "Hilmi" Haradinaj was an Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Soldier who died during the fight with Serbian forces in Qafë Prush, at the Border of that time of Yugoslavia and Albania.
