The Austin Peay Governors men's basketball team represents Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Governors play in the ASUN Conference starting in 2022–23, following 61 seasons in the Ohio Valley Conference. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament to date was in 2016, making the field of 68 by virtue of having won the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament. The Governors' head coach is Corey Gipson.

The 2015–16 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represented Grand Canyon University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Dan Majerle's third season at Grand Canyon. This season was year 3 of a 4-year transition period from Division II to Division I. As a result, the Antelopes were not eligible to make the NCAA Tournament, nor the NIT and could not participate WAC Basketball Tournament. However the Antelopes were eligible for the CIT, CBI or the new Vegas 16 tournaments if invited. They finished the season 27–7, 11–3 in WAC play to finish in a tie for second place. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. In the first round, they defeated South Carolina State to be champions of the Coach John McLendon Classic, the first classic game to be held as part of a postseason tournament. In the second round they defeated Jackson State to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Coastal Carolina.

They finished the season 19–15, 12–6 in OVC play to finish in third place. They defeated Eastern Illinois in the quarterfinals of the OVC tournament before losing in the semifinals to Belmont. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they defeated Louisiana–Monroe in the first round, a game referred to as the Coach John McLendon Classic, and received a second round bye before losing in the quarterfinals to UIC.
The 2018–19 New Orleans Privateers men's basketball team represented the University of New Orleans during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Privateers were led by eighth-year head coach Mark Slessinger and played their home games at Lakefront Arena as members of the Southland Conference. The team finished the season 19–14 overall and 12–6 in conference play. In conference, they tied for 3rd place with Lamar and Southeastern Louisiana. As the number four seed in Southland Conference tournament, the Privateers defeated Lamar in the first round, Southeastern Louisiana in the second round, and lost to Abilene Christian in the championship finals game. Om March 17, New Orleans received an invitation to the College Insider tournament. Their season ended with an overtime loss to Texas Southern.

The tournament began on March 15 with the championship game played on April 1. The tournament was won by the Fresno State Bulldogs. All games were streamed on ESPN+.
The 2010–11 Buffalo Bulls men's basketball team represented the University at Buffalo during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulls, led by twelfth-year head coach Reggie Witherspoon, played their home games at Alumni Arena in Amherst, New York as members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). They finished the season 20–14, 8–8 in MAC play to finish in sixth place in the MAC East. It was the third 20-win season in the school's NCAA Division I history and the second in their past three seasons.
