Zhao Yunlei is a mixed and women's doubles badminton player from China. She graduated with a BA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is the first and only badminton player to have ever won two gold medals in the same Olympic edition, winning in both the mixed and women's doubles categories in 2012. Zhao joins the ranks with nine other players with two Olympic gold medals, the highest number of gold medals won by any badminton player. Through her performance at the 2014 and 2015 BWF World Championships, she became the first player to win two consecutive gold medals in two consecutive BWF World Championships.

In 2017, she was awarded as the BWF Best Female Player of the Year, after came to Dubai World Superseries Finals as the first seeded both in women's and mixed doubles, and also won the women's doubles gold and mixed doubles silver medals at the 2017 BWF World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. In women's doubles, she also won gold medals at the 2021, 2022 and 2023 World Championships, 2018 Asian Games and at the 2019 Asian Championships.
Jia Yifan is a Chinese badminton player. She won gold medals at the 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023 World Championships, 2018 Asian Games and at the 2019 Asian Championships.
Huang Dongping is a Chinese badminton player. She is the reigning mixed doubles Olympic Champion, and was two-time mixed doubles Asian Champion winning in 2018 and 2019.
Chae Yoo-jung is a South Korean badminton player who affiliated with Incheon International Airport team. She is the daughter of former singles player Kim Bok-sun. She won the mixed doubles title at the 2023 World Championships. Chae was a part of the Korean national team that won the world mixed team championships at the 2017 Sudirman Cup.
Jessica Rose Pugh is an English badminton player. She joined the national junior team in 2008, and selected to the senior team in 2015. She had won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Poland, also helped the team winning the silver medal. She won her first senior international tournament when she was 16 years old in Hungarian International. Pugh was part of the English team that won the mixed team bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. Pugh announced her retirement from international competition on 4 April 2023.

In 2015, she won the Portugal and Finnish International tournaments in the mixed doubles event partnered with Filip Michael Duwall Myhren, and also won the women's doubles title at the Finland partnered with Clara Nistad. In March 2015, she and Nistad won the Polish International tournament after beat the English pair Chloe Birch and Jessica Pugh. In 2017, she won the women's doubles title at the Swedish International Series tournament with Nistad.
Wakana Nagahara is a Japanese badminton player. She is a two-time world champion in the women's doubles. Nagahara attended Aomori Yamada High School, and was part of the Japanese national junior team that won the bronze medals at the 2013, 2014 Asian and 2014 World Junior Championships. She won her first senior international title at the 2014 Smiling Fish International in the women's doubles event partnered with Mayu Matsumoto. In national events, she plays for the Hokuto Bank team. Nagahara was awarded as the 2018 Most Improved Player of the Year by the BWF together with her partner Mayu Matsumoto. They obtained the honour after winning the 2018 BWF World Championships title and improving their ranking from 14 to 3 in the world. On 30 April 2019, she reached a career high as the women's doubles world No. 1.
Abigail Holden is an English badminton player who competes in international events. She took the English National crown in the women's singles event at the 2021 English National Badminton Championships. She competes for her club Surrey Smashers. She is currently ranked world number 152 in women's singles and world number 183 in women's doubles
Thinaah Muralitharan is a Malaysian badminton player who entered the national team in 2013. She was the gold medalists in the women's doubles and mixed team event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
