Alieke Tuin (born 24 January 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left winger or left-back for Eredivisie club Fortuna Sittard.
She started her career at SC Heerenveen and made 13 appearances there in the 2020/21 first division season. For the 2021/22 season, she moved to VV Alkmaar, where she quickly gained status as a regular player. She has been under contract with Fortuna Sittard since the 2022/23 season, with whom she started her debut season in the Eredivisie. [1]
On 6 April 2023 she made her first known appearance for the Netherlands U-23 team, where she started a 2–0 win over Italy. [2]
For the senior national team, she has not yet been used. In preparation for the 2023 World Cup, she was named to the provisional tournament squad at the end of May. [3] Later, however, she was not part of the final squad at the World Cup.
Fortuna Sittard is a professional football club in Sittard, Netherlands. The club currently plays its football in the 12,500 capacity Fortuna Sittard Stadion and features in the Eredivisie. The club was established through a merger of former clubs Fortuna 54 and Sittardia, which merged as the Fortuna Sittardia Combinatie on 1 July 1968.
