As of November of 2020, Geller is currently the Mayor of Broward County and was the former Vice Mayor of Broward County from November of 2919 till November of 2020. He serves as Chair of the South Florida Regional Planning Council, on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Counties, as Chair of the Broward County Water Advisory Board, and on the Broward County Cultural Council.
