Antaheen Jatra is an Assamese language film directed by Munna Ahmed. The film is based on a story by Jnanpith Award winner Mamoni Raisom Goswami. The film was screened at the Calcutta International Film Festival along with films from France, Czechoslovakia, China, Portugal, Vietnam, Canada, Norway, Italy and Bangladesh. [1]

The soundtrack of the film was composed by Dr. Hitesh Baruah. Unliked his previous ventures, it only has three instrumental songs "Literature Masterpiece", "Writing Novels" and "Mamoni's Award Winning". Baruah reused few songs "Sunday Holiday Closing Day", "Kun Khorogor Jui" and "Morom Noir" from the film Maa Tumi Ananya as per the director's request, however, it did not feature in the film and only appeared in the soundtrack album. This was Baruah's second film as a music director.

Nipon Goswami was an Indian actor and theatre artist associated with Assamese-language films. He was one of the veteran actors of Assamese Film Industry. He started his acting career as a stage actor and later established himself as a film actor. His most notable for his work in the 1969 film Dr. Bezbarua as well as Piyoli Phukan, Tumi Aahibaane and Aparoopa.

Mission China is a 2017 Indian Assamese-language action drama film directed by Zubeen Garg and produced by Garima Saikia Garg as well as Zubeen Garg himself under the banner of "Eye Creation Productions". The film features Zubeen Garg and Deeplina Deka in lead roles and Sattyakee D'com Bhuyan, Siddharth Nipon Goswami, Yankee Parashar, Parthasarathi Mahanta, Pabitra Rabha, Bibhuti Bhushan Hazarika, Tridib Lahon, Nabadweep Borgohain, Ragini Parashar and Bhashwati Bharati in supporting roles. <i>Piyoli Phukan</i> (1955 film) 1955 Indian film

Piyoli Phukan is a black & white Assamese language film directed by Phani Sarma, released in 1955. The film is based on the life and struggle of a historical character of Assam, Piyoli Phukan, son of Badan Borphukan, who revolted against British occupation. He was sentenced to death and hanged in 1830 at Jorhat. The film is produced by Gama Prasad Agarwalla under the banner of Rupjyoti Productions, Tezpur, Assam. Music is composed by Bhupen Hazarika. Piyoli Phukan is the first Assamese film, which got national recognition. The film was honoured by the Certificate of Merit in State Awards, 1956.

Jonaki Mon is a 2002 Indian Assamese drama film directed by Jibanraj Barman and produced by Dinesh Kumar Rajkhowa.

Tumi Mur Mathu Mur is a 2000 Indian Assamese romantic-drama film directed by Zubeen Garg in his directorial debut and produced by Debo Borkotoky. It was released on 25 February 2000 opposite Munin Barua's romantic film Hiya Diya Niya.

Sandyaraag is a black and white Assamese language film, directed and produced by Bhabendra Nath Saikia. It was released in theatre in 1977. The film was based on a story titled 'Banprastha'. The screenplay and dialogues were written by the director himself. Sandhyaraag was awarded with silver medal for best Assamese film in the 25th National Film Awards. It is the first Assamese film to be showcased in the Indian Panorama.
