The Armenia national under-17 football team is the national under-17 youth football team of Armenia. The team is based mostly on the young players from the league and competes every year to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the UEFA European Under-17 Championship. The team played its first match in 1993, Armenia having, until 1992, been part of the USSR.

The Armenia national football team represents Armenia in men's international football, and is controlled by the Football Federation of Armenia, the governing body for football in Armenia.
The Armenia national under-21 football team is the youth football team of Armenia. The team is based mostly on the young players from the league and competes every two years in order to qualify for the European Under-21 Football Championship. The team played its first match in 1994, Armenia having until 1992 been part of the Soviet Union.
The Turkey national under-17 football team is the national under-17 football team of Turkey and is controlled by the Turkish Football Federation. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship, held every year. The original tournament was called the UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship (1982-2001). The tournament was renamed as the European Under-17 Football Championship in 2002, but importantly the overall statistics are collated from 1982. In addition, every odd year the top teams from the respective UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship compete in the FIFA U-17 World Cup the same year.

The 2020 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was scheduled to be the 19th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was initially postponed, rescheduled and was cancelled in October 2020.

Group 1 of the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition consisted of six teams: Italy, Sweden, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Armenia, and Luxembourg. The composition of the nine groups in the qualifying group stage was decided by the draw held on 11 December 2018, 09:00 CET (UTC+1), at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, with the teams seeded according to their coefficient ranking.
