International Military-Technical Forum "Army" is an event organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. It includes special projects such as: International exhibition of high-performance equipment and technologies for the rearmament of defense enterprises "Intelligent Industrial Technologies", and the specialized exhibition, "Innovation Club".

In 2023, the forum was held from August 14 to August 20. [13] On weekdays, the exhibition was open to potential buyers. Over the weekend, the forum was open to civilians.

The S-400 Triumf, previously known as the S-300 PMU-3, is a mobile surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed in the 1990s by Russia's NPO Almaz as an upgrade to the S-300 family of missiles. The S-400 was approved for service on 28 April 2007 and the first battalion of the systems assumed combat duty on 6 August 2007. The system is complemented by its successor, the S-500.

JSC Rosoboronexport is the sole state intermediary agency for Russia's exports/imports of defense-related and dual use products, technologies and services. The 9K720 Iskander is a mobile short-range ballistic missile system produced and deployed by the Russian military. They travel at a terminal hypersonic speed of 2,100–2,600 metres per second and can reach an altitude of 50 kilometres as they range up to 500 kilometres. The missile systems (Искандер-М) were intended to replace by 2020 the supposedly-obsolete OTR-21 Tochka systems in the Russian military.

Ratnik is a Russian future infantry combat system. Some components, including the communication systems and night vision technologies, have extremely limited military distribution. It is designed to improve the connectivity and combat effectiveness of combat personnel in the Russian Armed Forces. Improvements include modernised body armour, a helmet with a special eye monitor, communication systems, and special headphones. It includes 10 subsystems and 59 individual items.

The Orsis T-5000 is a Russian bolt-action sniper rifle. It was the first product developed by ORSIS, and is produced in their Moscow factory. The rifle was introduced in 2011 at the international exhibition of Russian weapons in Nizhny Tagil, and is entirely original, using no third-party components. According to General Director of the Institute for Precision Machine Engineering TsNIITochMash, Dmitry Semiozerov: "As of 2017, the newest sniper complex T-5000 "Precision" was adopted by the FSB, the FSO, and Rosgvardiya".

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Borisoglebsk-2</span> Russian electronic warfare system

The Borisoglebsk 2 is a Russian, MT-LBu ground vehicle mounted, multi-functional electronic warfare (EW) weapon system. It was developed by Sozvezdie over a six-year period, from 2004 to 2010. The system was however not ordered, or for other reasons not manufactured or delivered, at once to the Russian military. Starting in February 2015, it has been manufactured and delivered by UIMC to the Russian Armed Forces. It is designed to disrupt communications and GPS systems. Borisoglebsk 2 achieved initial operating capability in 2010, but was not ordered and delivered to Russian military until February 2015. Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported that Borisoglebsk 2 was the core system for electronic warfare in the Russian Army, controlling four types of jamming units from a single point.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2S41 Drok</span> Self-propelled mortar

2S41 "Drok" is a Russian self-propelled 82 mm mortar system created on the basis of the 4x4 Typhoon armored car, being developed by Burevestnik Research Institute for the Russian Airborne Forces. Drok was designed as part of "Nabrosok" program.
