Career

Ajaneesh Loknath has composed music for Ulidavaru Kandanthe , Kirik Party , Avane Srimannarayana and background score for Rangitaranga . He has sung for Ulidavaru Kandanthe , Ishtakamya , Kirik Party and has also sung songs for his own films. He has done movies for Ramesh Aravind , Dr.Shivrajkumar, Golden Star Ganesh, Bharathiraja, Nivin Pauly , Udhayanidhi Stalin , Duniya Vijay and many others.

He got his film Ulidavaru Kandanthe assigned for eight fields in the Radio Mirchi Music Awards South 2015. [1] His background score for the film Rangitaranga was short-listed for an Oscar but ultimately was not nominated. [2] Till date, he has worked for more than 25 films in many languages. His upcoming pan Indian release Mangalavaaram is set to hit screens on 17th Nov, 2023. [3]

Ulidavaru Kandante is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language neo-noir gangster film written and directed by debutant Rakshit Shetty. Shetty appears in the lead role, along with Kishore, Tara, Achyuth Kumar, Rishab Shetty, and Yagna Shetty playing supporting roles. The film revolves around five stories connected to an incident of a person's murder, with each character narrating it in his own perspective.

Yagna Shetty is an Indian actress known for her work in Kannada cinema. She made her debut in the 2007 film Ondu Preethiya Kathe, following which she appeared in Eddelu Manjunatha, a performance that won her a Filmfare Special Award. She got noticed for her performances in Sugreeva (2010) and Allide Nammane Illi Bande Summane (2011). Kirik Party is a 2016 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by G. S. Guptha and Rakshit Shetty. It stars Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Samyuktha Hegde, Achyuth Kumar, Aravinnd Iyer, Dhananjay Ranjan, Chandan Achar and Pramod Shetty play prominent roles. Ajaneesh Loknath and Charan Raj composed the soundtrack, with the former composing the score, whereas Karm Chawla handled the cinematography. Described by Shetty as "Southern Odd Fiction", the film follows a corrupt police officer who takes on a bandit chief in order to recover a missing treasure in the 1980s.

Kirik Party is the soundtrack album composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, for the 2016 Kannada film of the same name. The film has ten tracks, out of which only six were included in the soundtrack album which initially released on 26 November 2016. The makers later released the remaining tracks as an extended album on 24 December 2016. The soundtrack had lyrics written by Rakshit Shetty, Dhananjay Ranjan, Kiran Kaverappa and Veeresh Shivamurthy. Deciding to not tie up with any music label, the producers released the album online under their own banner Paramvah Music, a subsidiary of Paramvah Studios and the digital partner Divo. The tracks received viral response from audiences.

Bharath B. J. is an Indian music producer, composer and singer, who works predominantly in Kannada cinema. Starting his career as a composer for the short film Simply Kailawesome in 2010, Bharath got his breakthrough in 2013 with the film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for the film Beautiful Manasugalu. Apart from composing music, Bharath has recorded his voice for songs, notably the "Hey Who Are You" song from the film Kirik Party (2016).

The film has four songs in the Kannada version, two songs in both Telugu and Tamil version and one song in Malayalam and Hindi version.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language period action thriller film set during the reign of Kadambas of Banavasi written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films. It is a prequel to the 2022 film Kantara. The film stars Rishab Shetty as Kaadubettu Shiva.
