The Broadmoor is a hotel and resort in the Old Broadmoor neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Broadmoor is a member of Historic Hotels of America of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Its visitors have included heads of state, celebrities, and professional sports stars.
The Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado is an 8,000 seat multi-purpose arena and entertainment venue. The arena opened in 1998. In addition to the main arena, the adjacent Ice Hall contains two practice rinks, one NHL-sized and one Olympic-sized.
Carlo Fassi was an Italian figure skater and international coach whose students included several World and Olympic champions. As a single skater, he was the 1953 World bronze medalist, a two-time European champion, and a ten-time Italian national champion (1945–54).
The Pettit National Ice Center is an indoor ice skating facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featuring two international-size ice rinks and a 400-meter speed skating oval. Located adjacent to Wisconsin State Fair Park, the center opened on January 1, 1993, and was named for Milwaukee philanthropists Jane and Lloyd Pettit. Although Wisconsin State Fair Park owns the land and the building, the Pettit National Ice Center Inc., a non-profit corporation, has operated the site since the facility opened.
The Broadmoor World Arena was a skating rink and hockey arena located at The Broadmoor Resort & Spa in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Originally an outdoor equestrian center and riding academy, the building was enclosed and converted into an ice arena which opened in January 1938. It was the original home of the Colorado College Tigers hockey team, as well as the Broadmoor Skating Club, a major force in the figure skating community. The building served as the first home of the NCAA Hockey Championships, hosting the first ten Final Fours (1948-1957) and once more, in 1969. The arena served as host to the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships in 1962. It also hosted the World Figure Skating Championships five times between 1957 and 1975.
Ryan Scott Bradley is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 2008 Skate Canada International silver medalist, the 2009 Skate America bronze medalist, the 2011 U.S. national champion, and a three-time U.S. Collegiate champion.
James David "Jim" Grogan was an American figure skater who won a bronze medal at the 1952 Oslo Olympics. He also won four silver medals at the United States Figure Skating Championships and at the World Figure Skating Championships. During his competitive career, he was coached by Edi Scholdan at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

William Thayer Tutt was an executive for several ice hockey leagues and organizations. He is the son of Charles L. Tutt, Jr., and has two brothers, Charles L. Tutt, III and Russel Thayer Tutt, and one sister. William married Margaret Bradford Timmons on November 4, 1932. Later he married former figure skating champion Yvonne Sherman.

With his wife, Alexa Scimeca Knierim, he is a 2018 Olympic bronze medalist in the figure skating team event, a two-time Four Continents medalist, a three-time Grand Prix medalist, and a three-time U.S. National Champion. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Knierims became the first American pair, and the second pair ever in history, to perform a quad twist at the Olympic Games.
Margit Catharina Lindgren, known as Catarina Lindgren, is a Swedish figure skating coach, choreographer, and former competitor. She is a four-time (1981–1984) Swedish national champion. She represented Sweden at the 1984 Winter Olympics, where she placed 20th.
The U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships are a collegiate figure skating competition sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. It is the highest level at which figure skating takes place at the college level in the United States. The event has been held since 1986. The event takes place in August of the calendar year and generally at the beginning of the figure skating season.
