Cherubino Alberti (1553–1615), also called Borghegiano, was an Italian engraver and painter. He is most often remembered for the Roman frescoes completed with his brother Giovanni Alberti during the papacy of Clement VIII. He was most prolific as an engraver of copper plates.

Niccolò Boldrini (c.1500–c.1566) was an Italian engraver of the Renaissance. He was frequently confused with Nicola Vicentino. Boldrini was an engraver on wood, born at Vicenza in the early 16th century, and still living in 1566. His prints are chiefly after Titian, who may have been his master. He engraved John Baron de Schwarzenburg after Dürer and the following prints after Titian:

Frederick Christian Lewis (1779–1856) was an English etcher, aquatint and stipple engraver, landscape and portrait painter and the brother of Charles Lewis (1786–1836).
Edward Williams was an English landscape painter during the Victorian era. He had six sons, who were well-known landscape painters as well. Williams is considered the patriarch of the Williams family of painters, which is also referred to as the Barnes School.

William Young Ottley was a British collector of and writer on art, amateur artist, and Keeper of the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum. He was an early English enthusiast for 14th- and 15th-century Italian art, or the "Italian Primitives" as they were then often called. He spent the 1790s based in Rome, where he bought much art; this was sold for a considerable profit in 1801 after his return to London.

John Ames was a Bristol-based printmaker. He produced a number of portraits including those of the Methodist ministers, James Rouquet and John Henderson as well as the Quaker doctor, John Till Adams. William Young Ottley, who only had a copy of the Rouquet portrait, suggests he may have been an amateur. He also produced a number of engravings for Ebenezer Sibly, a protégé of Till Adams.
