Cheri Dennis (born August 7, 1979), is an American R&B singer from Cleveland, Ohio.
Cheri Dennis was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and was initially a member of a girl group named Spoyled. When the group broke up, Dennis left Shaker Heights and moved to New York where she began her recording career.
Dennis first appeared on the Mase tracks "No Matter What", "All I Ever Wanted" and "If You Want to Party" from his album Double Up (1999), after running into Diddy during a party in New York City. After appearing briefly on Puff Daddy's Forever album ("Is This the End? (Pt. 2)") also in 1999, in 2001 she reappeared signed to Bad Boy Entertainment with her first solo track "So Complete" from the P. Diddy and The Bad Boy Family album "The Saga Continues...". Afterwards she was heard on several mixtapes, before finally releasing her first single, the Ryan Leslie produced track "I Love You", in fall 2005. The music video was filmed in March 2006 before premiering on BET's 106 & Park on May 1. "I Love You" peaked at No. 38 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Dennis' second single "Portrait of Love" peaked at No. 55 before her debut album In and Out of Love finally released in February 2008, debuting at No. 74 on the Billboard 200. Her song "Ooh La La" was originally used as an opener for Making The Band 3 , which suggested that the final band recorded the song. The girls often referred to the song in competitions.
She now goes by Cheri Coke [1] and has collaborated with MeLo-X on "The Garden of Eden", it is a part of the tracklist that will appear on Dennis's second album "X/COKE".

Bad Boy Records is an American record label founded in 1993 by rapper Sean "Puffy" Combs. It operates as an imprint of Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. It has been home to many artists, including Craig Mack, the Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, 112, Total, the LOX, Mase, Shyne and Carl Thomas. At its peak, Bad Boy was worth U.S. $100 million dollars.
Making the Band is an ABC/MTV reality television series that exists in separate iterations, each focusing on a specific music act. It spawned musical acts O-Town, Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26, and Donnie Klang. Except for the first iteration of the series featuring O-Town, all seasons of Making the Band have been overseen by Diddy, acting as the man of the house who makes the final decision on who will be in the band.
We Invented the Remix is a remix compilation by P. Diddy & The Bad Boy Family, released on May 14, 2002. It features remixes of hit singles by artists from P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records record label. The album reached number one of the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart for a week and was later certified Platinum for shipments of over one million copies. The album sold 256,000 copies in its first week. The album also reached number 17 on the UK Albums Chart. The album featured the hit singles "I Need a Girl ", which reached number two in the U.S., and "I Need a Girl ", which reached number four, a rare occurrence of both parts of the same song both becoming big hits. This was the last album Bad Boy would release under the Arista Records label.
Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, known professionally as Cassie, is an American singer, songwriter, model, actress and dancer. Born in New London, Connecticut, she began her career as a result of meeting record producer Ryan Leslie in late 2004, who later signed her to NextSelection Lifestyle Group. During this time, Diddy heard "Me & U" in a club, and Leslie convinced him to partner his Bad Boy Records with Leslie's NextSelection imprint for the release of her debut album.
"In My Room" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Gary Usher for the American rock band the Beach Boys. It was released on their 1963 album Surfer Girl. It was also released as the B-side of the "Be True to Your School" single. The single peaked at number 23 in the U.S. and was eventually inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. Dawn Angeliqué Richard is an American singer-songwriter. She started her career after auditioning for Making the Band 3 in 2004. During this time, Richard became a member of girl band Danity Kane, from 2005 to 2009, and reformed the group with 3 of the original 5 members in late 2013. In 2009, Richard joined the duo Dirty Money with fellow singer-songwriter Kalenna Harper, and label boss Sean "Diddy" Combs to form Diddy – Dirty Money. With the group, they released the highly successful album Last Train to Paris, as well as two additional mixtapes before their disbandment in 2012.
Danity Kane is an American girl group whose final line-up comprised Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex. The group originally had five members, but Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett left the group in 2008, and Aundrea Fimbres left in 2014. Formed on the third iteration of MTV's Making the Band reality television series in 2005, they signed to Bad Boy Records by Diddy.
"Show Stopper" is the debut single by American girl group Danity Kane. It was written by Angela Hunte, Krystal Oliver, Calvin Puckett, Frank Romano, and Jim Jonsin for their self-titled debut album (2006), while production was helmed by the latter. The song features guest vocals by rapper Yung Joc. "Show Stopper" was released as the album's lead single on March 3, 2006 in the United States and on October 20, 2006 in Europe. In and Out of Love debuted at #74 on the Billboard 200, Dennis' debut album was critically acclaimed despite questions being raised concerning the album's sudden halt possibly due to the record label and the music industry's infamous promotional discrepancies, corruption, quid pro quo, fraudulent fine print being added onto contracts, breach of contract, and federal embezzlement.

American singer Cassie Ventura, known simply as Cassie, has released one studio album, one mixtape, thirteen singles and eleven music videos. She recorded her first song, "Kiss Me", with Ryan Leslie for her mother's birthday in February 2005. Leslie then signed Ventura to his NextSelection imprint, writing and producing her first single, "Me & U", that same year. The song soon went viral after made available on her MySpace page and became a club hit in Germany. In the meantime, Diddy partnered with Leslie to release Ventura's self-titled debut album Cassie in August 2006, through Bad Boy and Atlantic Records. The album debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 and charted within the top forty in the UK Albums Chart, where it later received a Silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry. "Me & U" peaked in the top ten of several countries, including number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 and spent seven weeks atop the US Airplay chart, being certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America selling over one million digital downloads. The follow-up "Long Way 2 Go" was the final single of the album and despite less successful in the US, it went on to peak within the top forty of various other countries.

It was written by Anthony Best, Michael Jamison, Bobby Springsteen, and Jennifer Lopez and recorded by Evans for her third studio album Faithfully (2001).
