Chokeules, otherwise known as Choke, is a Canadian underground hip hop artist and member of the Backburner crew. His real name is Justin Lepine. [1] He is a former member of the group Toolshed (with Timbuktu, and Psyborg), [2] [3] [4] and a member of the group Swamp Thing (with Timbuktu and Savillion). [5] He also makes up one half of the duo Sequestrians (with Timbuktu). [6] He is a vegan. [7]

The Barrie Advance newspaper responds to Chokeules' first album Hypergraphia with the following quote: "Chokeules spits smooth lyrics over some of the most wicked beats and cuts you've heard in years on a mainstream record". [8]

Chokeules was also one of the guest collaborators on a Train of Thought Tour mixtape (2011). [9]

Amp Live is an American alternative hip hop producer and DJ from California. He was one half of the duo Zion I, but left the group in 2015 amicably. He has remixed works by Radiohead, Tokyo Police Club, and Jamie Lidell.

Leslie Seaforth, better known by his stage name More Or Les, is a Canadian rapper, DJ and producer. He is a founding member of the Canadian hip hop crew Backburner. He currently resides in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario.

The crew has released two albums, Heatwave, in 2011, and Eclipse, in 2015. A music video was produced for the eponymous lead single from Heatwave.

Since 2005, Muneshine has released three major label projects in Japan, and contributed production and vocal appearances on more. Haviah Mighty Canadian rapper

Haviah Mighty is a Canadian rapper from Toronto, Ontario. She rose to prominence in 2016 as a member of the hip hop group The Sorority, before releasing several EPs on her own, most notably Flower City, in 2017. Her first album, 13th Floor, was released in 2019, and won the 2019 Polaris Music Prize.

Tory Lester Zellars, better known by his stage name Yung Tory and nickname, Mr. Yaw Yaw, is a Canadian rapper from Toronto, Ontario. Tory initially signed to Lil Durk’s record label OTF in 2015, but after gaining recognition in 2018 he signed into a joint venture deal with Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group and Def Jam Recordings a year later. He released his debut album Rastar in early 2019.
