Croatian Cricket Federation

The Croatian Cricket Federation (Croatian : Hrvatski Kriket Savez) is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Croatia. The current head office is located in Zagreb, the federation having been founded in 2000 and officially registered in 2004. The Croatian Cricket Federation is Croatia's representative at the International Cricket Council as an affiliate member since 2001. It is also a member of the European Cricket Council and provisional member of the Croatian Olympic Committee. [1] In 2017, became an associate member [2]

In July 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended the Croatian Cricket Federation, with the team barred from taking part in ICC events. [3]

In July 2021, Croatian Cricket Federation's frozen status was lifted by ICC, upon the receipt of appropriate paperwork. This enables Croatia to take part in ICC events from now on. [4]

A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019.

The Russia national cricket team is the team that represents the Russian Federation in international cricket. In 2012, they were officially endorsed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as an Affiliate member and were therefore entitled to participate in ICC Official events. Since 2017, they became an Associate Member In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Russia and other ICC Members after 1 January 2019 will be a full T20I.

The Ukrainian cricket team is a fledgling team which represents the nation of Ukraine in international cricket competitions. They are not officially endorsed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and are therefore not entitled to participate in ICC official events, however they do have an application to the European Cricket Council pending, which should see them granted affiliate status in the near future. Ukraine Cricket Federation (UCF) is an organization in development that seeks to unify Ukraine based cricket community and become the sole Ukraine governing body for the sport of cricket recognized by both the ICC and National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (NOC). The UCF structure has been established to facilitate the governance, development, regulation and promotion of cricket in Ukraine.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League</span> International cricket league

The 2020–23 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League is the ongoing inaugural edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, a One Day International (ODI) league. The league is taking place from July 2020 to May 2023, and serves as part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process.

The 2019 international cricket season was from May 2019 to September 2019. The 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and Wales took place during this time, starting on 30 May 2019. 10 Test matches, 78 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 109 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), as well as 1 Women's Test, 9 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 130 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period. Additionally, a number of other T20I/WT20I matches were also scheduled to be played in minor series involving associate nations. The season started with India leading the Test cricket rankings, England leading the ODI rankings and Pakistan leading the Twenty20 rankings. On 3 May, the International Cricket Council (ICC) expanded the men's T20I rankings to include all current Full Member and Associate members of the ICC, featuring 80 teams. In the women's rankings, Australia women lead both the WODI and WT20I tables.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Philippines women's national cricket team</span> Cricket team

The Philippine national women's cricket team is the team that represents the Philippines in international women's cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between the Philippines women and other ICC members since 1 July 2018 have been full WT20Is.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Uzbekistan national cricket team</span>

The Uzbekistan national cricket team represents the nation of Uzbekistan in international cricket and administered by Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan. In July 2022, the International Cricket Council (ICC) inducted the team as an Associate Member, becoming the 25th member in the Asia region.
