Danna Stern is the former head of Yes Studios. [1] [2]

Stern studied at Tel Aviv University and the Kellogg School of Management. [3] Stern worked as a news producer for Israeli Army Radio [4] and then spent six year with Reuters Television in Jerusalem. In 1999 she joined yes TV [5] as an acquisitions executive working her way up to vice president and in 2017 became managing director of Yes Studios. [6] [7] During her tenure, Fauda was the first show in Hebrew to get picked up by Netflix. [8] Stern is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. [9] [10]

In 2023, Stern was selected to be on the international jury of the inaugural Berlinale Series Award at 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. [11] [12]

Stern is producing Bros, a Netflix Hebrew-language TV series from Guy Amir and Hanan Savyon. [13]

Along with Reinhardt Beetz and Duki Dror, Stern produced a documentary about the Re'im music festival massacre called Supernova: The Music Festival Massacre. [14] [15]

Stern's husband is Israeli journalist and TV anchor, Dov Gil-har. They have three children. [4]

Hisham Fadel Sulliman is an Arab-Israeli actor. He is best known for his role in the Israeli drama film Bethlehem, and as Taufiq Hammed in the Israeli political thriller television series Fauda.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Re'im music festival massacre</span> 2023 mass murder in southern Israel

On 7 October 2023, the Palestinian Islamist militant group Hamas initiated a surprise attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip. As part of the attack, 364 civilians were killed and many more wounded by Hamas at the Supernova Sukkot Gathering, an open-air music festival during the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret near kibbutz Re'im. At least 40 hostages were also taken. This mass killing had the largest number of casualties out of a number of massacres targeting Israeli civilians in villages adjacent to the Gaza Strip, that occurred as part of the 7 October attack, alongside those at the moshavim of Netiv HaAsara, Be'eri, Kfar Aza, Nir Oz and Holit.
