Dave Hill is an American comedian, radio host, writer, musician and actor originally from Cleveland, Ohio. [1] He is the host of The Dave Hill Goodtime Hour, a weekly livestream and podcast part of the Maximum Fun network. In 2007 Variety named Hill one of their "10 Comics to Watch". [2]
In May 2019, Hill was permanently banned from Twitter after he repeatedly responded to attacks from Trump supporters with jokes about having consensual sexual intercourse with their mothers and, in some cases, their fathers. [3]
Hill wrote the theme song for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver , "Go", performed by his band Valley Lodge. [4]
In 2016, Hill formed a psychedelic rock band with Chris Reifert called Painted Doll. The band's self-titled debut album was released on Tee Pee Records on February 16, 2018. [5]
Hill was a member of the 1990s alternative band Sons of Elvis, which he formed with friends while a student at Fordham University. The band signed with Priority Records shortly after graduation and released a debut full-length album Glodean in 1995 as well as a limited edition disc titled Mrs. White, featuring live recordings and several tracks from Glodean. The lead single from Glodean, "Formaldehyde", received airplay at radio and on MTV, and was also featured on the soundtrack of the feature film Higher Learning, by director John Singleton. The band also performed two songs live on The Jon Stewart Show in 1995. [6] [7]
Hill also played bass for Cleveland-based rock band Cobra Verde, bass for Lucy Wainwright Roche and former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley. He has also played guitar with Walter Schreifels' solo band and with Diamondsnake, a hard rock band also featuring Moby, Tomato, and Phil Costello. Hill is the creator and sole member of the semi-fictional Norwegian black metal band Witch Taint and currently fronts the power pop band Valley Lodge, both with Phil Costello. [8] [9]
In March 2019, Hill launched a second podcast, Dave Hill: History Fluffer, with TV producer Jim Biederman, comedian Jodi Lennon, and producer Chris Gersbeck. The show places Hill throughout different time periods while Biederman and Lennon question his claims. [10]

Thelonious Monster is an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, led by singer-songwriter Bob Forrest and named after jazz musician Thelonious Monk. Active from 1984 to 1994, again from 2004 to 2011, and reforming a second time in 2019, the band has released five original studio albums. The band has a large cult following and is considered to be a seminal and influential band in the 1980's L.A. underground music scene, alongside acts like Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. They've been described as having "traced emotional dips and bends with exceptional acuity and impact".

Uncut is a monthly magazine based in London. It is available across the English-speaking world, and focuses on music, but also includes film and books sections. A DVD magazine under the Uncut brand was published quarterly from 2005 to 2006. The magazine was acquired in 2019 by Singaporean music company BandLab Technologies, and was published by NME Networks from December 2021. to August 2023, when the brand was sold to Kelsey Media.

The Comedy Cellar is a comedy club in Manhattan where many top New York comedians perform. It was founded in 1982 by then stand-up comedian, and current television writer/producer Bill Grundfest. It is located in Greenwich Village on 117 MacDougal Street between West 3rd Street and Minetta Lane. Above the club is a restaurant called The Olive Tree Cafe to which it is connected, where many of the comedians hang out after performing. The club is owned by Noam Dworman, who inherited it from his late father Manny in 2003. It is being booked by Estee Adoram, who has developed the club's talent for nearly four decades. The businesses share the same menu, kitchen, and staff as the Olive Tree Cafe.

He rose to fame on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a regular correspondent for five seasons. Tomato is an American musician who is best known for being the lead singer and drummer for the alternative rock band Sound of Urchin. Tomato was born in New York City, grew up in Rockland County, NY, and presently resides in Brooklyn, NY. He also plays drums in The Moistboyz as well as Dave Dreiwitz from Ween's "Crescent Moon". Tomato was mentored by Gary Chester, author of Modern Drummer publication's drum book "The New Breed". Tomato has played drums for Ween, as well as for Ellen Foley and the Dirty Old Men, and recorded drums with Tenacious D for the Comedy Central Crank Yankers version of "The Friendship Song". Tomato also appeared on an episode of the Nickelodeon kids' show The Naked Brothers Band as a guest drummer along with Questlove and Claude Coleman, Jr. Tomato is also married to internet celebrity Lori Harfenist, host of The Resident.

Brendan Peter Schaub is an American podcast host, former professional mixed martial artist, and stand-up comedian. He is the host of The Fighter and the Kid podcast, the Below the Belt with Brendan Schaub podcast, and co-host of the Golden Hour podcast, along with fellow comedians Chris D'Elia and Erik Griffin. After signing with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2009 to compete on The Ultimate Fighter, he fought for the company until 2014. He officially retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) in 2015. Since 2015, Schaub has been performing stand-up comedy, initially as a duo act with comedian Bryan Callen, but more recently as a solo comedian. Schaub released his debut comedy special titled You'd Be Surprised in 2019 followed by his second special, The Gringo Papi in 2022.
