BBC Radio 5 Live is a British national radio station owned and operated by the BBC. It broadcasts mainly news, sport, discussion, interviews and phone-ins. It is the principal BBC radio station covering sport in the United Kingdom, broadcasting virtually all major sports events staged in the UK or involving British competitors.

5 Live Sport is the banner of live sports coverage on BBC Radio 5 Live. The regular presenters are Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates (Tuesday), Steve Crossman and Darren Fletcher (Friday). The programme is on air from Monday to Wednesday 7pm to 10:30pm, as well as Thursday and Friday 7pm to 10pm. It is also broadcast at weekends from 12pm until the early evening, depending on the events being covered.
Alison Mitchell is an English-Australian cricket commentator and sports broadcaster, working for the BBC, Australia's Channel 7 and the Australian Open among others. She was the first woman to become a regular commentator on the BBC's Test Match Special, and has been commentating on men's and women's international cricket around the world since 2007. She also spent many years reporting and commentating on a variety of sports for BBC Radio 5 Live and Five Live Sports Extra, including Olympic and Commonwealth Games, Wimbledon, Australian Open, French Open and Open Golf. In March 2014, she was voted SJA Sports Broadcaster of the Year 2013 by members of the Sports Journalists' Association. She is also the first woman to have called men's cricket ball-by-ball on ABC Radio Grandstand in Australia.
Gregory James Alan Milward is an English broadcaster and author. He has been a presenter on BBC Radio 1 since 2007, hosting shows including his old drive-time show and the station's flagship breakfast show.

He presented the news and technology programme Saturday Edition on the station until October 2014, and since then has presented Saturday Breakfast alongside Eleanor Oldroyd and Sunday Breakfast, originally alongside Sam Walker, from 6 am to 9 am on both days. In addition, Warburton presented In Short, the best of BBC Radio 5 Live programme from 2013 to 2018. He has also covered for presenters on BBC Radio 6 Music and You and Yours on BBC Radio 4. Prior to this he presented the breakfast show on BBC Radio Wiltshire.
