Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (Cyrillic : Фудбалски клуб Сарајево, IPA: [fûdbalskiːklûːbsɑɹəˈjeɪvəʊ] ; English: Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country.
This list includes major honours won by FK Sarajevo, records set by the club, its managers and players. The player records section includes details of the club's leading goalscorers and players with the most appearances in first-team competitions.
The club's record appearance maker is Ibrahim Biogradlić, who made 646 appearances between 1951 and 1967. [1] Dobrivoje Živkov is the club's record goalscorer, scoring 212 goals in all competitions (official and unofficial) during his career in FK Sarajevo. [2] The club's top goalscorer in official matches is legendary striker Asim Ferhatović, who found the back of the net on 100 separate occasions (198 in total). [3]

The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Sarajevo, is the chief officiating body of football in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Bosnian football association was founded as the Sarajevo football sub-association of Yugoslavia in 1920. In 1992, the association was re-founded as the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Safet "Pape" Sušić is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. He was a gifted midfielder known for his dribbling skills and technical ability, and is strongly reputed to have been one of the finest European players of his generation. Sušić played for Yugoslavia in two FIFA World Cups, 1982 and 1990, and at UEFA Euro 1984. As a manager, he qualified the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Horde Zla is the organized Ultras group that supports Bosnian football club FK Sarajevo. The group's logo consists of a stylized depiction of the Grim Reaper, borrowed from a Zagor comic book at the time of the group's inception. Horde zla is one of two major football fan groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Apart from FK Sarajevo, the group also supports KK Bosna Royal and RK Bosna Sarajevo. The group's organizational structure is fairly decentralized with many subgroups present at the stadium's north stand – the gathering point of the club's most loyal and passionate fans. Some of the most well known subgroups are Outlaws, Maroon Brothers, Vutrasi, Fina Gradska Raja and Downtown.

The Bosnian Footballer of the Year, since 2008 renamed to Idol Nacije, is an annual award given to the best Bosnian football player of the year, as well as recognising and awarding other sports men and women, coaches and game officials in the country. The event was held in 2001 under the Bosnian banner for the first time, with Sergej Barbarez winning the most prestigious award for best player of the year, and again in 2003.

Zijad Švrakić, also known as Ziya Yıldız after acquiring Turkish citizenship is a retired Bosnian professional footballer and manager. As a member of the Sarajevo squad that won the Yugoslav First League in 1985, he was best known for his speed and dribbling ability. After leaving his homeland he spent seven years playing professionally in Turkey, where he represented Adana Demirspor, Galatasaray, Ankaragücü and Karşıyaka. He concluded his playing career with Maltese Premier League football club Rabat Ajax.

The 2016–17 Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the seventeenth season of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the highest football league of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The season began on 23 July 2016 and concluded on 28 May 2017, with a winter break between early December 2016 and late February 2017. The official fixture schedule was released on 24 June 2016.
