Pakistan Fashion Week (PFW) is a fashion event annually held in Karachi, Pakistan. The event is organised by the Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) an organisation based in Karachi. The FPW was first launched in 2009 in Marriott Hotels, Karachi.

2012

FPW's fourth edition was held in September 2012 in Karachi. The event was held for three days with a great showings of fashion designers from all around the Pakistan. [1]

2013

FPW 5 was scheduled to be held on March 20–22, 2013, a three days event will present thirty designers from all over the Pakistan. [2] But due to the Abbas Town tragedy, FPC's CEO and a designer Maheen Khan postponed to April 2013. The 3-day event was held on April 9, 2013. Fashion Pakistan Week 2017 featured Khas Stores, Emran Rajput, Baani D and Maheen Khan on the first day. [3]

2014

FPW Autumn/Winter 2014 was held from November 25–27 in Karachi. Mohsin Ali, Nauman Arfeenshowing, Ather Ali Hafeez for Sana Safinaz, Ishtiaq Afzal Khan's "Aurora," Nida Azwer, Shehla Chatoor, Deepak and Fahad, Ayesha Farooq Hashwani, Maheen Karim, Maheen Khan, Levi's, Sadaf Malaterre, and Faraz Mannan were among those showing at the event. Karachi Fashion Week is a fashion week held in Karachi, Pakistan. It is the country's largest fashion display event. It has been hosted annually and coincides with the international and local spring and summer peak buying season.

Waar is a 2013 Pakistani action-thriller film directed by Bilal Lashari, written by Hassan Rana, and produced by Syed Mujtaba Tirmizi. The film stars Shaan Shahid as Major Mujtaba Rizvi, a retired Pakistan Army Officer while Meesha Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Khan, and Kamran Lashari star in supporting roles. Moor is a 2015 Pakistani drama film written and directed by Jami and co-produced by Nazira Ali, Nadeem Mandviwalla and Jami under the production banner of Azad Film Company and Mandviwalla Entertainment. The film stars Hameed Sheikh in lead along with Samiya Mumtaz, Shaz Khan, Nayyar Ejaz, Ayaz Samoo and Abdul Qadir in lead roles. The film's title, Moor, is a Pashto word meaning "Mother". Moor was previously named as Morqaye. Film's story depicts the railway system of Balochistan, especially the closure of Zhob valley railways in 1984. Besides that the movie shows how families are run by the women. According to the director of the movie, the film depicts living through the problems faced by Pakistan.

<i>Mah e Mir</i> 2016 film by Anjum Shahzad

Mah e Mir is a 2016 Pakistani biographical film directed by Anjum Shahzad, produced by Khurram Rana, Sahir Rasheed, Badar Ikram and written by Sarmad Sehbai. The film is based on the life of the famous poet Mir Taqi Mir, role played by Fahad Mustafa. Film also stars Iman Ali, Sanam Saeed, Alyy Khan and Manzar Sehbai in lead roles. It was the official submission by the Pakistani Academy Selection Committee as the country's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.

<i>Na Maloom Afraad</i> 2014 Pakistani film

Na Maloom Afraad, is a 2014 Pakistani action comedy film co-written and directed by Nabeel Qureshi in his directorial debut. It stars Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa, Mohsin Abbas Haider with supporting cast of Urwa Hocane, Kubra Khan and Salman Shahid. The story follows Shakeel (Sheikh), Farhaan (Mustafa) and Moon (Haider), three poor struggling individuals who chase every possible means of becoming rich, all getting into trouble as they struggle to fulfill their desires and ambitions through questionably moral ways.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA is a 2015 Pakistani adventure comedy film directed by Nadeem Baig. It was co-produced by Humayun Saeed, Salman Iqbal and Shahzad Nasib at Saeed's production house, Six Sigma Plus. It is the first installment in the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The film stars Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry and Mehwish Hayat. The supporting cast includes Sohai Ali Abro, Jawed Sheikh, Ismail Tara, Bushra Ansari, Ayesha Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan. The film is about a single man who is a divorce lawyer. He takes his three married friends on a trip to help them escape their wives and the monotony of their lives.

Maheen Khan is a Pakistani fashion and costume designer, also an award winner fashion designer for fashion labels like The Embroidery House, Maheen and Gulabo. She has done many national and international fashion events and shows. She undertook embroidery for the film Snow White and the Huntsman and television series The Jewel in the Crown. For the e-commerce, her brand is officially onboard on Studio by TCS.

<i>Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2</i> 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language flim

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA 2, is a 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language romantic comedy film, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry. It is a joint venture of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib's Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja's ARY Films. It is sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and the second installment in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The cast includes Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Uzma Khan and Sarwat Gillani all of whom reprise their roles from previous film, along with Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, and Mawra Hocane who join the franchise.

Jahan-e-Khalid is Pakistani super model, educationist and entrepreneur. Having worked with top brands and fashion designers he has established himself as a leading model and has been nominated twice as Best Model Male at Lux Style Awards. He received three consecutive nominations at Hum Awards as Best Model Male, winning one.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ramsha Khan</span> Pakistani actress (born 1994)

Ramsha Khan is a Pakistani actress who works in Urdu-language television. She made her debut with the film Thora Jee Le (2017), the same year she appeared in the television drama Woh Aik Pal. Khan received recognition for her shows Mah-e-Tamaam (2018) and Khudparast (2018-19). For her portrayal of an independent girl in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat (2021), she won the ARY People Choice Award for Favorite Actress. Khan went on to portray an army officer in Sinf-e-Aahan (2021–22), and a college girl in Hum Tum (2022). For the latter, she received a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress nomination.
