Eli Cohen, nickname: "The Sheriff", born 3 January 1951) is a former Israeli football player and manager.

The 2008–09 Israeli Premier League season began on 30 August 2008, and ended on 1 June 2009. Beitar Jerusalem were the defending champions, having won their 6th league title the previous year.

The 2011–12 season was Beitar Jerusalem's 43rd season in the Israeli Premier League. Until November 2011, Beitar played its home games at Ramat Gan Stadium because its home stadium, Teddy, was being renovated.

The 2013–14 Israel State Cup was the 75th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 60th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. It began in August 2013, while the final was held in Ramat Gan Stadium on 7 May 2014.

The 1963–64 Israel State Cup was the 25th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 10th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

The 1964–65 Israel State Cup was the 26th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 11th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

The 1965–66 Israel State Cup was the 27th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 12th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

The 1966–67 Israel State Cup was the 28th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 13th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

The 2020–21 Israel State Cup was the 82nd season of Israel's nationwide Association football cup competition and the 66th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. The competition started in November 2020.

The 2009–10 season was Maccabi Haifa Football Club's 28th consecutive season in the Israeli Premier League and 96th year in existence as a football club. In addition to the domestic league, Maccabi Haifa participated in this season's editions of the Israel State Cup, Toto Cup Al and UEFA Champions League.
