The Futsal European Federation (FEF) is the futsal governing body for both fully and non-independent states or regions in Europe. It was founded in 2017 to replace UEFS. FEF organizes men's and women's tournaments for both national/regional and club teams in Europe.

The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC.

The frontal eye fields (FEF) are a region located in the frontal cortex, more specifically in Brodmann area 8 or BA8, of the primate brain. In humans, it can be more accurately said to lie in a region around the intersection of the middle frontal gyrus with the precentral gyrus, consisting of a frontal and parietal portion. The FEF is responsible for saccadic eye movements for the purpose of visual field perception and awareness, as well as for voluntary eye movement. The FEF communicates with extraocular muscles indirectly via the paramedian pontine reticular formation. Destruction of the FEF causes deviation of the eyes to the ipsilateral side.

The Spanish futsal league is divided into divisions. The top teams play in the División de Honor. In each division, a team plays all other teams twice, once at home and once away.

The European Futsal Association or European Union of Futsal (UEFS) was the international sporting association for futsal in Europe. Its name has been directly translated into many languages, and in English has been known as both the European Futsal Association and the European Union of Futsal. It was founded in 1985 in Madrid, then transferred to Moscow. UEFS was affiliated to the Asociación Mundial de Futsal (AMF) until 2017. However, UEFS was disaffiliated and Futsal European Federation was established to replace it.

The Republic of Ireland national futsal team has represented the Republic of Ireland in the UEFA Futsal Championship. The Professional Futsal League is a planned professional futsal league in the United States. The league was founded in 2016 and it was intended to begin play in 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Futsal at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics</span>

The futsal competition at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 18 October. At Tecnópolis and the CeNARD, the first one located in Villa Martelli, and the second one in Buenos Aires. There are two tournaments, one for boys and one for girls.

Indonesian Women's Professional Futsal League is the main competition futsal for women at the national level and is in Indonesia, organized by the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI). This competition began in the 2012–2013 season and until now it has been arranged 6 times. This competition was held in conjunction with the title of the Indonesia Pro Futsal League.
