The Gibraltar Futsal Second Division is the second tier of organized futsal in the British overseas territory of Gibraltar. Since 2018 it has served as the bottom tier in Gibraltar after the Gibraltar Football Association reduced the amount of divisions from 4 to 2. Teams also participate in the Futsal Rock Cup, and through that may participate in the Louisito Bonavia Trophy.

J1 League Top division of association football in Japan

The J1 League or simply J1 is the top division of the Japan Professional Football League and the top professional Football J.League in Japan. It is one of the most successful leagues in Asian club football. Currently, the J1 League is the first level of the Japanese association football league system. The second tier is represented by the J2 League. It is currently sponsored by Meiji Yasuda Life and thus officially known as the Meiji Yasuda J1 League. It originally contained eight member clubs, but it has grown over the years. In 1909 the league was split into two divisions between which clubs can be promoted and relegated at the end of each season. In the 2013–14 season, the Premier Division contained eight clubs with the Second Division containing 12 clubs. For sponsorship reasons it is known as the Argus Insurance Premier Division.

The Porto Football Association is the district governing body for the all football and futsal competitions in the Portuguese district of Porto. It is also the regulator of the clubs registered in the district.

Gibraltar United F.C. is a football team from Gibraltar. Founded in 1943 in the midst of World War II, they play in the Gibraltar Football League's Premier Division. In 2011 Gibraltar United joined forces with fellow local club Lions Football Club, with the club's new name Lions Gibraltar FC who played in Gibraltar's Premier Division. In 2014 the club announced their reformation as an independent club and played in the Gibraltar Football League's second tier once again in the 2014–15 season, winning promotion as champions.

Lincoln Red Imps Football Club is a professional association football club from Gibraltar. They play in the Gibraltar National League, and share Victoria Stadium with all other clubs in the territory. They are the country's record champion with 24 league titles, including fourteen consecutive titles between 2003 and 2016, and in 2014 were the first team to represent Gibraltar in the UEFA Champions League. In August 2021, Lincoln became the first club from Gibraltar to ever reach the group stages of a European club competition after defeating the Latvian champions Riga in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Football has been a popular part of sport in Gibraltar since its introduction by British military personnel in the 19th century. The Gibraltar Football Association, founded in 1895, is one of the ten oldest active football associations in the world.

Manchester 62 F.C. is a football club based in Gibraltar. The club was previously known as Manchester United F.C. in honour of the English club Manchester United, having officially changed from the 2013–14 season. The club's crest was altered also to reflect the name change. As of the 2018–19 season, Manchester 62 is currently a member of the Gibraltar Premier Division. The club, like all others in the territory, currently play at the Victoria Stadium on Winston Churchill Avenue.

The Gibraltar Women's Football League is the top level amateur women's football championship of Gibraltar. Due to the lack of resources available for women's football, the league has been contested by five teams since 2021, and the league is treated as a development competition. This status means that, as of the 2021 season, clubs are ineligible to enter the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2014–15 Gibraltar Second Division is the second season of second-division amateur football in Gibraltar since the territory joined UEFA in 2013. The Gibraltar Second Division will be contested by 14 clubs this season, an expansion from the 12 team division of the previous season. The season began on August 17, 2014 with a match between Cannons FC and Angels FC, with the new club winning 3–0. FC Britannia XI won the league last season, earning promotion to the 2014–15 Gibraltar Premier Division and taking Gibraltar Phoenix's place in the top tier. The champion of the league and runner-up this season will be promoted to the 2015–16 Gibraltar Premier Division.

FC Hound Dogs is a football and futsal club from Gibraltar. They play their football in the Gibraltar Intermediate League and the Rock Cup; their Futsal team compete in the Gibraltar Third Division.

Europa Point F.C. Association football club in Gibraltar

Europa Point F.C. is a football team from Gibraltar. The club, formed in 2014 by former League Football Education member John Gontier, is best known for its "Stepping Stone Club" philosophy, and currently plays in the Gibraltar National League the top senior tier of association football in Gibraltar. They also participate in the Rock Cup, the territory's primary cup competition.

Gibraltar Scorpions F.C. were a football team from Gibraltar. They played in the Gibraltar Second Division and the Rock Cup. On 1 April 2015 Joaquin J. Echevarría was appointed as the manager for seven years starting in the 2015/2016 season. After losing a number of players towards the end of their first season in the Second Division, the side's promotion challenge failed and the football side folded in order for the club to focus its efforts on its successful futsal side.

Boca Gibraltar was a football team from Gibraltar. They played in the Gibraltar National League until 2020, having previously played in the Gibraltar Premier Division and the Gibraltar Second Division and they also played in the Rock Cup. A futsal side still exists from the remnants of the club, competing in the Gibraltar Futsal Second Division.

The 2015–16 Gibraltar Second Division was the third season of second tier football in Gibraltar since the Gibraltar Football Association joined UEFA. The league was contested by 12 clubs, after the Gibraltar Premier Division expanded to 10 teams.

The Gibraltar Futsal First Division is the top Gibraltarian futsal league organized by the Gibraltar Football Association (GFA). Since the 2013-14 season, the champion qualifies to enter the Preliminary Round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

The Gibraltar National League is the only senior tier of association football in Gibraltar, founded in 2019 after a merger of the Gibraltar Premier Division, which served as the top division of football on the Rock since 1905, and the Gibraltar Second Division, which had existed since 1909. It was announced in August 2019 by the Gibraltar Football Association. The league is supported by the Gibraltar Intermediate League for U23 sides and Hound Dogs.
