Hugo Ticciati (born April 12, 1980) is a British-born violinist, living in Sweden. He has performed in several worldwide events such as the Gotland Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), the St. Denis-Festival (Paris), and the Festival Internacional Cervantino. He has also begun his own Festival called the O/MODƏRNT, in Sweden.
At the age of twelve he entered the Edinburgh Festival at Queen Elizabeth Hall. Since then, Ticciati has performed with several orchestras from England, Romania, Sweden, East Asia, Estonia, and the United States. [1] He has performed in the Baltic Sea Festival in Sweden, at Carnegie Hall, and the Hermitage Music Festival held in St Petersburg. [2] Ticciati currently gives regular concerts in important halls in Europe and in East Asia. He plays accompanied by pianists such as Staffan Scheja, Svetlana Navarssadian, Sophia Rahman, Michael Tsalka and Henrik Måwe.
Hugo gives masterclasses and seminars on violin teaching and lectures on music-related subjects all over the world. In autumn of 2008, he was invited to become the guest violin teacher and lecturer in music history at The New School in New York. Hugo's teaching searches for ways to apply the physical and spiritual aspects of meditation to practicing art, playing and living in music. [2]
Hugo started studying violin in London, before attending the University of Toronto. He continued studying with Russian violinists Nina and Oleg Balabina in Sweden, where he is now a citizen. Hugo has won the international competitions Giovani Talenti and Rovere d'Oro at San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy in 2002, and the Mendelssohn Cup in Bari, Italy in 2004. In 2007, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music in the United Kingdom. [2]
Ticciati has started a new festival named O/MODƏRNT (which means "Unmodern") as artistic director at Ulrikdals Palace Theatre Confidencen, in Sweden. [2]
Ticciati works in the contemporary music world with composers such as Albert Schnelzer, Anders Hillborg, Djuro Zivkovic, Leonardo Coral, Andrea Tarrodi, Tobias Broström, Thomas Jennefelt, Sergei Yevtushenko and Esaias Järnegard. [1] Within other projects, he is working with Bill Connor (English composer), on "An Improvised Violin Concerto". Over the next seasons, Ticciati will be performing concertos in Russia, Romania, Sweden, England and Mexico. [1]
Ticciati has been invited to several renowned musical events, such as the Gotland Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), the St. Denis-Festival (Paris), and the Festival Internacional Cervantino, which is annually held in Guanajuato, Mexico. [3] In 2011, Sweden was a guest of honor in FIC and was represented by Angereds Teater, Åke Parmerud, Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, and Hugo Ticciati, who worked with Michael Tsalka. [3]
Hilary Hahn is an American violinist. A three-time Grammy Award winner, she has performed throughout the world as a soloist with leading orchestras and conductors, and as a recitalist. She is an avid supporter of contemporary classical music, and several composers have written works for her, including concerti by Edgar Meyer and Jennifer Higdon, partitas by Antón García Abril, two serenades for violin and orchestra by Einojuhani Rautavaara, and a violin and piano sonata by Lera Auerbach.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra (SCO) is an Edinburgh-based UK chamber orchestra. One of Scotland's five National Performing Arts Companies, the SCO performs throughout Scotland, including annual tours of the Scottish Highlands and Islands and South of Scotland. The SCO appears regularly at the Edinburgh, East Neuk, St Magnus and Aldeburgh Festivals and The Proms. The SCO's international touring receives support from the Scottish Government. The SCO rehearses mainly at Edinburgh's Queen's Hall.

Thomas M. Sleeper was an American composer and conductor. He was the Orchestra Conductor at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida from 1985 to 1993, and Director of Orchestral Activities and Conductor of the University of Miami Frost Symphony Orchestra until his retirement in 2018. He was also the director of the Florida Youth Orchestra from 1993 to 2020.

Ryu Goto is an American concert violinist. Goto gained attention as a child prodigy, first performing at the age of seven in the Pacific Music Festival held in Sapporo, Japan. In 2006, his debut tour of 12 cities of Japan was sold out.
Wendy Warner is a cellist from Chicago, Illinois. She performs both as a soloist with major orchestras and as a chamber musician around the world.
The Oslo Camerata is a mostly classical string orchestra based in Oslo, Norway, as part of the Barratt Due Institute of Music. Established in 1998, the orchestra consists mostly of professional musicians, with selected Institute students participating in projects. The repertoire consists of classic and newly composed pieces, and has been described as one of the most innovative orchestras in Europe. It has performed extensively in Norway, with support of that country’s Ministry of Culture and parts of Europe along with India, Brazil and Mexico. It has released three CDs since 2006.

The Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra – Polish string orchestra founded in 1996 by the outstanding virtuoso violinist Jan Stanienda who is the orchestra's concertmaster, as well as its conductor. The La Catrina Quartet is a group of four U.S.-based classical musicians who specialize in traditional and classical music from the Americas as well as traditional European pieces. The group was formed in 2001 by four graduate students at the Western Michigan University. The group tours regularly through the United States and Mexico, with about 50 performances per year at venues such as New Museum of Musical Instruments in Phoenix, the Symphony Space in New York and the Festival Internacional Cervantino. The quartet has collaborated with orchestras, composers and others to create new compositions, and record pieces by Latin American artists. In 2012, the group won a Latin Grammy for Best Classical Recording with Brasilero. It has also won the Research and Creative Scholarship Prize from the Western Michigan University and the Creative Scholarship and Arts Council Award of North Carolina.
Takae Ohnishi is a Japanese harpsichordist who has performed extensively in the United States and Japan as a soloist, chamber musician and basso continuo player. She has appeared with numerous orchestras and at various venues in the United States and Japan, being a featured performer with the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Ishihara Hall 10th Anniversary Concert series and the Festival Internacional Cervantino in Mexico. She is also a music teacher and since 2007 has been an adjunct with the University of California, San Diego.
