Prince Imoro Andani (died 23 November 2020) was a Northern Regional Minister of Ghana. He resigned in 2002 following a violent conflict in Yendi. [1]

In November 2019, Prince Andani was appointed by Ghana's president as Chairman of Ghana Integrated Iron & Steel Development Corporation, a new agency that is to see to the development of the West African Country's significant iron ore deposit. [2]

Andani died in Accra on Monday, 23 November 2020 in Accra. [3] He was survived by his wife Katumi Andani and four children.

Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration Public university school in Greenhill, Accra, Ghana

The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) is a public co-educational university spread over four campuses and made up of six schools, ten research centers located at Greenhill in Accra, Ghana. The location of GIMPA, Greenhill, was named by Nicholas T. Clerk who served as the Rector of the Institute from 1977 to 1982. The name, "Greenhill", is a reference to the lush greenery and hilly topography of the main campus, as well as its location in Legon which was historically on the periphery of the Ghanaian capital, Accra. Together with 200 state institutions, GIMPA successfully participated in a Public Sector Reform Programme under the auspices of the World Bank and became a self-financing institution as part of the National Institutional Reform Programme in 2001. It was established as a public university by an Act of Parliament in 2004. The institute was established in 1961 by the Government of Ghana with assistance from the United Nations Special Fund Project and was initially called the Institute of Public Administration, intended as a specialist training graduate school for civil servants in Ghana. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu is a Ghanaian Islamic cleric who currently serves as the Chief Imam of Ghana, as well as a member of the National Peace Council. Kingdom of Dagbon Traditional Empire of Dagbon and Kingdom of the Dagomba people in Ghana

The Kingdom of Dagbon is one of the oldest and most organised traditional kingdoms in Ghana founded by the Dagomba people (Dagbamba) in the 11th century. During its rise, it comprised, at various points, the Northern, Upper West, Upper East and North East regions of present-day Ghana. Since Ghana's independence in 1957, the Kingdom just like all of Ghana's kingdoms and ethnic states has assumed a traditional, customary role.

Frederick Torgbor Sai, was a Ghanaian academic and family health physician who co-founded the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana in 1967. A gender and reproductive health advocate, he was known for his campaigns and education drawing attention to the food and nutrition problems of Africa, particularly of women and children. He served as the Chief Physician for Nutrition and the Director of Medical Services at the Ghana Health Service and Professor of Community Health at the University of Ghana, Legon. Alhassan Andani is a Ghanaian economist and grandson of Naa Andani who ruled Dagbon in the colonial era. He serves as the current chief executive director of Stanbic bank. He holds the position of Chairman of Council for Scientific & Industrial Research, Chairman of SOS Children's Villages Ghana and serves on the board of Gold Fields Limited. Alhassan Andani is Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Andani is currently CEO and executive director of Stanbic Bank Ghana; the Board Chairperson of the Ghana Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), a director of SOS Villages Ghana, and has held other corporate directorships in the past. He holds BSc (Agriculture), University of Ghana; MA, Finafrica Institute in Italy.
