Jan Petrus Leonardus Janssen (born October 17, 1952) is a former professional ice hockey player. Of Dutch descent, he played several years for Dutch club Heerenveen Flyers as well as for the Netherlands national ice hockey team. [1] He was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

A forward, Janssen played a total of 12 seasons with Heerenveen between 1975 and 1987. His best points total for a season came in 1978-9 when he collected 75 points in 43 games.

Janssen played in the 1980 Winter Olympics and 1981 World Ice Hockey Championships for the Dutch, the only two times that the national team played in the top tier internationally. He had 3 assists in the 5 games the Netherlands played. At the 1981 World Championship, he had a goal and two assists in 8 games.

Michel Galarneau is a Canadian-born French former ice hockey centre. He played 78 games in the National Hockey League with the Hartford Whalers between 1980 and 1983, while mainly playing in the minor leagues. He moved to Europe in 1984, spending one season in the Dutch Eredivisie, and then moved to the French domestic league in 1985, where he played until retiring in 2000. Internationally Galarneau represented the French national team at the 1995 World Championships.

Ron Berteling is a Dutch retired ice hockey player and coach. He represented the Netherlands ice hockey at the 1980 Winter Olympics, and served as captain of the Netherlands men's national ice hockey team from 1982 to 1993. He appeared in 14 Ice Hockey World Championships, and holds the record of 213 games played for the national team. He played in 26 seasons of the Eredivisie, competing the Netherlands' top league for the Amsterdam Tigers and the Rotterdam Panda's. He was named the league's most valuable player for the 1987–88 season, won four Eredivisie titles, five Dutch Cups as a player and a sixth as a coach.
