Overijssel is a province of the Netherlands located in the eastern part of the country. The province's name translates to "across the IJssel", from the perspective of the Episcopal principality of Utrecht by which it was held until 1528. The capital city of Overijssel is Zwolle and the largest city is Enschede. The province had a population of 1,162,215 as of November 2019. The land mostly consists of grasslands and some forests ; it also borders a small part of the IJsselmeer to the west.

The 2014 KNVB Cup Final was a football match between PEC Zwolle and Ajax on 20 April 2014 at De Kuip, Rotterdam. It was the final match of the 2013–14 KNVB Cup competition and the 96th Dutch Cup final. PEC Zwolle beat Ajax 5–1 to secure their first KNVB Cup trophy.
The 2017–18 season was PEC Zwolle's 107th season of play, it marked its 16th season in the Eredivisie and its 6th consecutive season in the top flight of Dutch football.
Anthony Albertus Hermance "Thom" van Campen is a Dutch politician. He has been serving as a member of the House of Representatives on behalf of the conservative liberal People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) since the 2021 general election. Van Campen previously held a seat in the Zwolle municipal council (2011–2021) and served as a political assistant.
