Kevin John Arnott (born 8 March 1961) is a former Zimbabwe cricketer who played in four Test matches and 13 One Day Internationals from 1987 to 1993. He was the first Zimbabwean to face a ball in Test cricket, and the second to make a Test century. [1] His highest score in a Test innings was 101 not out made against New Zealand at Bulawayo in 1992.

He appeared in both the World Cup tournaments in 1987 and 1992. His father, Don, played first-class cricket Rhodesia during the 1950s. He is a past pupil of Prince Edward School, Harare and graduated from Cape Town University. [2] He is the first Test cap for Zimbabwe.

After his cricket career, Arnott became a lawyer in Harare. [3]

In total he played 60 matches in his Test career, captaining Zimbabwe on 21 occasions. He also played 188 One Day Internationals, being captain in 86 of them. He retired from cricket in 2003.

Harare Sports Club is a sports club and the Harare Sports Club Ground is a cricket stadium in Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1900 and known as Salisbury Sports Club until 1982, it is mostly used for cricket matches, and has served as the primary cricket venue in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe since its foundation. Other sports played at the club are rugby, tennis, golf and squash.

Brendan Taylor Zimbabwean cricketer

Brendan Ross Murray Taylor is a Zimbabwean former international cricketer and a former Zimbabwean captain, who played all formats of the game. Taylor is a right-handed batsman but is also an off spinner. In 2015, former Zimbabwe captain Alistair Campbell described Taylor as "our standout player for the last seven or eight years". He is known for his unorthodox shots especially his ability to play upper cuts over the third man and ramp shots with elegance and are often considered as his trademark signature shots. His style of play and ability to make substantial contribution with the bat often drew comparions with that of Andy Flower. He represented Zimbabwe in four ICC T20 World Cup tournaments in 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2014.. Also, he represented Zimbabwe in three ICC ODI world cups as well in 2007, 2011 and 2015.

Iain Peter Butchart is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who played one Test at the age of 35, in addition to 20 One Day Internationals spread over twelve years. He was an all-round player, a right-handed batsman and an often used medium pacer. He also played nine matches for Zimbabwe in the ICC Trophy, making 57 runs without being dismissed and taking 14 wickets, including four for 33 against Netherlands in the 1986 final, which Zimbabwe won by 25 runs.
