The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Roughriders compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division.
Ronald Lancaster was an American-Canadian professional football player and coach in the Canadian Football League (CFL). As the starting quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for 16 seasons, he led the team to its first Grey Cup championship in 1966 and is the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards, attempts, completions, touchdowns, and interceptions. At the time of his retirement, he was the CFL's career leader in passing yards and still ranks sixth overall as of 2016. After his retirement as a player, he served as a head coach and general manager in the CFL; he led his teams to two Grey Cups and currently ranks fourth all-time with 142 regular season wins. He was also a colour commentator on the CFL on CBC from 1981 to 1990. At the time of his death, he was the Senior Director of Football Operations of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame (1982), Canada's Sports Hall of Fame (1985) and the Wittenberg University Athletic Hall of Honour (1985).
Jeff Fairholm is a former professional Canadian football player. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League as a slotback and wide receiver. He was a member of Saskatchewan's Grey Cup winning team of 1989. He played college football at the University of Arizona but did not graduate with a degree and high school football at Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario.
Jerry Keeling was a quarterback and defensive back in the Canadian Football League, playing fifteen seasons from 1961 to 1975 for the Calgary Stampeders, the Ottawa Rough Riders, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. For his great play, he became a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

He had previously served on the coaching staffs of the Toronto Argonauts, University of Redlands, Dickinson State, and Yucaipa High School.
Tim Fleiszer is a former professional Canadian football defensive lineman who played ten seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He won Grey Cup championships in 1999 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, 2002 with the Montreal Alouettes, 2005 with the Edmonton Eskimos, and 2007 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He is the only person to have won four Grey Cups with four teams.
Ricky Foley is a former professional Canadian football defensive end who most recently played for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 2006 CFL Draft. He is a three-time Grey Cup champion, having won in his rookie year in 2006 and also winning in 2012 and 2013. Foley won the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award in 2009 and also the Grey Cup's Most Valuable Canadian award in 2012. He played CIS football for the York Lions.
Corey Jermaine Chamblin is an American football coach who is the defensive backs coach for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL and was previously the defensive backs coach for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (USFL). He is a former professional gridiron football defensive back and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 1999. He played college football at Tennessee Tech. As a player, Chamblin has also been a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, Rhein Fire and Indianapolis Colts.
Dale West is a former award winning and Grey Cup champion defensive back who played in the Canadian Football League for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1962 to 1968.
Sam Scoccia was a Canadian Football League defensive lineman who played 14 seasons in the CFL, mainly for the Ottawa Rough Riders, and was a member of their 1960 Grey Cup winning team. He played his first season for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in 1951, then the Saskatchewan Roughriders for 3 years, and ended his career with Ottawa. From 1952 to 1965, Scoccia played no fewer than 12 games, missing only 2 games from 1956 to 1965. He intercepted 2 passes in his career, in 1960 and 1961.
