Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama is an Islamic seminary in Lucknow, India. Established on 26 September 1898 by the Nadwatul Ulama, it is one of the major Islamic institutions in India.

Majid Ali Jaunpuri was an Indian Sunni Islamic scholar and a rationalist thinker. He was mainly known for his work in the subjects of logic and hadith. He was an alumnus of the Darul Uloom Deoband and is reported to have written a marginalia to Sunan Abu Dawud and Jami` at-Tirmidhi.

Muhammad Taqi Amīni was an Indian Sunni Islamic scholar, jurist, Urdu author and the dean of Theology faculty of Aligarh Muslim University. He is known for his works on Islamic jurisprudence, and his book Fiqh Islami ka Tareekhi Pas-e-Manzar is a required reading for master's degree in Islamic studies at the Islamic University of Science & Technology.

Zayn al-Abidin Sajjad Meerthi (1910–1991) was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar and historian and head of the Islamic studies department of Jamia Millia Islamia. His book Tarikh-e-Millat is required reading in the syllabus of Darul Uloom Deoband and in madrasas affiliated with it.

Mahmud Deobandi was a Muslim scholar who became the first teacher at Darul Uloom Deoband. His most notable student is Mahmud Hasan Deobandi.

Sayyid Mumtaz Ali Deobandi was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar and an advocate of women rights in the late nineteenth century. He was an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband. His book Huquq-e-Niswan and the journal Tehzeeb-e-Niswan that he started with his wife Muhammadi Begum are said to be pioneering works on women rights.

Mamluk Ali Nanautawi was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar who served as the Head Teacher of Arabic language at the Zakir Husain Delhi College. His notable students include Muhammad Qasim Nanautawi, Rashid Ahmad Gangohi and Muhammad Yaqub Nanautawi.

Hāmid al-Ansāri Ghāzi was an Indian Muslim scholar, author and a journalist, who co-founded the Nadwatul Musannifeen and served as the editor of bi-weekly newspaper Madina. He was the son of Muhammad Mian Mansoor Ansari and an alumnus of the Darul Uloom Deoband, Jamia Islamia Talimuddin and University of the Punjab. He was a member of the executive council of Darul Uloom Deoband and authored books such as Islām ka Nizām-e-Hukūmat and Khulq-e-Azeem.

Mahfoozur Rahman Nami was an Indian Muslim scholar, politician and an author. He was an alumnus of Jamia Miftahul Uloom and Darul Uloom Deoband. He established Madrasa Nūr-ul-Ulūm and Azad Inter College in Bahraich.

Nadwatul Ulama is a council of Muslim theologians in India which was formed in 1893 in Kanpur. The first manager of the council was Muhammad Ali Mungeri and the incumbent is Bilal Abdul Hai Hasani Nadwi. The council established the Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, a famous Islamic seminary in Lucknow, on 26 September 1898.

Shafiqur Rahman Nadwi (1942–2002), also written as Shafiq-ur-Rahman Nadwi, was an Indian Islamic scholar and a writer of Arabic and Urdu. He was an alumni and professor of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama and the author of the famous book of Fiqh in Arabic, Al-Fiqh Al-Muyassar. He also served as the office-in-charge of the madrasas affiliated with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, which numbered 150 at the time.

Abdullah Hasani Nadwi was an Indian Islamic scholar, professor of Hadith, Sufi shaykh, da'i, and author. He worked as a lecturer at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in Lucknow for 36 years. He also served as General Secretary of the All India Payam-e-Insaniyat Forum from 2006 to 2013.

Bilal Abdul Hai Hasani Nadwi is an Indian Islamic scholar, Hadith lecturer, da'i, and author. He is currently the Chancellor of Nadwatul Ulama. He also serves as the General Secretary of the All India Payam-e-Insaniyat Forum and a member of Darul Uloom Deoband's executive council.

Sharif Hasan Deobandi was an Indian Islamic scholar and Muhaddith. He served as Sheikh al-Hadith at Darul Uloom Deoband from 1972 to 1977. He also worked as a professor of Hadith and Sheikh al-Hadith at Jamia Islamia Talimuddin in Dabhel for almost ten years.

Muhibbullah Lari Nadwi was an Indian Islamic scholar, who served as a principal of the Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama from 1970 to 1993.
