Lostep was a production duo composed of Australian producers Luke Chable and Phil K. They have released singles on labels such as Eq [Grey]. Additionally, their music has appeared on compilations by Sasha and Dave Seaman. In April 2006, Lostep released their first full album, Because We Can on GU Music. [1] The pair also used to DJ together. [2]
According to their website, accidental discovery is a theme which underlied Lostep's musical approach. While Luke Chable and Phil K were already successful DJs and producers, the collaboration that became Lostep was not necessarily a well-planned endeavor so much as something that took place organically over a period of time. Individually, Luke and Phil had both mixed albums and released records for some of the biggest electronic music labels in the world and had both performed in some of the world's biggest and best nightclubs. But it was through their mutual love for electronic music and the spirit of artistic collaboration that Lostep finally came to full fruition.
The two initially began a loose collaboration in the studio with the support of Ivan Gough, mostly just the two having fun remixing and creating experimental new material. Eventually the duo produced their first single as a group, titled "The Roots," featuring vocalist Lior Attar. Fellow DJ and producer Dave Seaman was enthusiastic about the track and featured it on his electronic mix compilation Global Underground 22: Dave Seaman in Melbourne, which was released in 2002.
The duo's next single "Burma" was another organic collaboration composed once again in Phil's loungeroom studio. The two sent the completed track to friend and fellow producer Sasha, who later included it in his CD compilation album, Involver , which was released in 2004.
Several years later, after months of on-again, off-again collaboration in the studio, Lostep released their first album, Because We Can, which quickly received widespread acclaim in the electronic music scene. The album has been described as a “dreamlike sequence,” rather than a typical mix album, and the musical style could fall under a variety of categories, including Breakbeat, IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), Deep House and experimental. Thomas John Digweed is a British DJ and record producer. DJ Magazine voted him the World No. 1 DJ in 2001. As well as achieving success as a solo act, he has collaborated with Sasha as Sasha & John Digweed, and with Nick Muir as Bedrock.
Sasha & John Digweed are a British DJ duo comprising Sasha and John Digweed. Digweed had been DJing for ten years before getting a gig at Renaissance where he met Sasha, who had been working the past few years in various acid house music clubs and raves. Together, they honed their DJ skills, focusing on track selection and technical mixing abilities. In 1994, they released the triple CD mix album Renaissance: The Mix Collection on Renaissance Records. It contained many popular dance hits of the time from artists such as Leftfield, Fluke, and 2 Bad Mice as well as original productions and remixes from themselves. Two years later, the duo became "true superstars" (AllMusic) with the release of their double CD Northern Exposure on mega-label Ministry of Sound. This release was brought to the United States the next year in a single CD package on Ultra Records. 1997 saw the release of the Northern Exposure 2 double CD mix album, again on Ministry of Sound. Sasha and Digweed toured internationally, helping define the sound of progressive house & trance music in the late 1990s. In 1998, both John Digweed and Sasha released separate mix albums on Boxed as part of the Global Underground series with Digweed's GU 006: Sydney and Sasha's GU 009: San Francisco release.

He is best known for his live events and electronic music as a solo artist, as well as his collaborations with British DJ John Digweed as Sasha & John Digweed. He was voted as World No. 1 DJ in 2000 in a poll conducted by DJ Magazine. He is a four-time International Dance Music Awards winner, four-time DJ Awards winner and Grammy Award nominee.

Creamfields is the fifteenth DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold, released in 2004. The double album was inspired by the annual Creamfields festival which at the time took place at the "Old Liverpool Airfield" organised by the Cream brand where Oakenfold had often performed. The album was released to commemorate Oakenfold's performance at the sixth annual Creamfields festival which took place several weeks after the album's release on 28 August 2004. Oakenfold performance at the festival was headlining the Cream/Goodgreef and Mixmag Arena. Creamfields was also the third in a series of mix albums of the same name commemorating the festival, with previous albums by different DJs being released in 2000 and 2001, with both releases carrying the same name. He is also head of A&R for the record label Hope Recordings.
Paul Eric Bosko, also known as Rosko, is an American singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He is perhaps best known as a recording artist for his 2005 single "Love Is A Drug" which reached number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Chart, and was produced by John Creamer & Stephane K. He is also known for his collaborations with Grammy Award-Nominated Electronic/Dance artist Nadia Ali, which include their 2006 duet "Something To Lose" for Ultra Records, and the song "Promises" on Ali's 2009 solo album "Embers."
Global Underground 009: Sasha, San Francisco is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by Sasha. It was released on 9 November 1998 through the label Boxed in the UK, and Thrive in the US, where the release was numbered 003. "Hale Bopp" is omitted, reducing the number of tracks on the US version to 26.
Darren Paul Emerson is an English musician, DJ and producer best known as a former member of the British electronic music group Underworld.
Lee Burridge is a British DJ and producer who helped launch the underground club scene in Hong Kong during the early 1990s. He currently plays at nightclubs across the world. Renowned for his storytelling musical style in his DJ sets as well as for his energy and enthusiasm in the DJ booth, his style encompasses the deeper and groovier end of house and techno that are equally suited to night time as they are for sunrise or sunset events. Burridge was a member of England's Tyrant Soundsystem and has mixed albums for labels such as Balance, Fabric, Global Underground and Hooj Choons.
Phillip Krokidis, known professionally as Phil K, was an Australian electronic music DJ and record producer from Melbourne. He was a member of the "Aussie breaks" music scene which also includes other Melbourne DJs such as Nubreed and Andy Page. In addition to DJing, Phil K also produced alongside Habersham and Dave Preston in The Operators and was also a member of Hi-Fi Bugs and Lostep. He was known primarily for his DJing of breakbeat music, but often weaved in other genres such as ambient, deep house, and techno and did not pigeonhole himself with a particular genre.
Global Underground 025: Deep Dish, Toronto is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by Deep Dish. The compilation reached the Billboard #1 Top Electronic Albums, #20 Independent Albums, and #29 Top Heatseekers. The release also has two Afterhours mixes, each mixed by Sharam and Dubfire individually.
Shelley's Laserdome was a night club in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. It was at the heart of the house and rave scene in the early 1990s, helping to launch the career of DJ Sasha and featuring regular appearances from Carl Cox. It was eventually shut down by Staffordshire Police.

7 is the seventh studio album by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, released on 14 September 2018 by What a Music, Parlophone and Big Beat Records. Released as a double album, the collection features commercial pop collaborations on the first disc, whilst disc two features underground house music akin to Guetta's starting roots as a DJ. The latter is credited to Jack Back, which Guetta revealed to be his alias and as a means to release more dance music alongside his pop collaborations. This side of the album is known as the Jack Back Project and was also released independently as a mixtape titled the Jack Back Mixtape, preceded by the release of the song "Overtone". 7 is David Guetta's first album since 2014's album Listen (2014)
