Matthew James Mullan (born 23 February 1987) is a retired English international rugby union player, between 2010 and 2017 he gained 17 caps for England while playing club rugby for Wasps and Worcester Warriors in Premiership Rugby. He played loosehead prop but also played at hooker.
Born in Brighton and educated at Bromsgrove School, [2] [1] Mullan made his Worcester Warriors debut against the Newport Gwent Dragons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. [3] He was on the losing side in the final of the 2007–08 European Challenge Cup. [4] In November 2009, Mullan signed a new two-year contract. [5]
In January 2013 he agreed to join Wasps for the 2013–14 season. [6]
In January 2019 Mullen retired from rugby citing a lack of motivation after a long spell out with injury. [7]
Mullan represented the England under-20s during their 2007 Six Nations campaign. [8] and was selected for the England Saxons against Ireland A in April 2009, though the game was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. [9]
Mullan did not tour in the summer of 2009 due to a shoulder injury, [9] whilst a torn hamstring thwarted a possible Senior debut in the 2009 Autumn Internationals. [10]
Mullan replaced the injured Andrew Sheridan in the senior squad for the 2010 Six Nations Championship, [11] and made his senior international debut as a replacement for Tim Payne against Italy in Rome on 14 February 2010. [12]
Mullan was called up to Eddie Jones' first squad for the 2016 Six Nations Championship in January 2016.
Philip John Vickery MBE DL is a former English rugby union tighthead prop and member of the England squad. He was a member of England's World Cup winning squad in 2003, playing in all seven matches in the tournament, and is a former England captain. Vickery ended his club rugby career at London Wasps, joining the London side in 2006 after eleven years with Gloucester Rugby. He played professionally in England, France and South Africa featuring for Leicester Tigers, Saracens, Worcester Warriors, Wasps and Newcastle Falcons in England's Premiership Rugby, CA Brive in France's Top 14 and for Super Rugby's Sharks in South Africa. Goode represented England 17 times between 2005 and 2009 scoring 107 points.

Dylan Hartley is a former England Rugby captain who represented England and Northampton Saints. Hartley was the captain of England from January 2016 until the end of his international career in 2019. He is England's most capped hooker of all time, earning his first cap in 2008. Hartley captained England to a Grand Slam in 2016, the first time that England had achieved this since 2003, then back-to-back Six Nations titles and notably a historic 3-0 series win in the 2016 Cook Cup against Australia.
