Matthew Edward Thomas Salisbury (born 18 April 1993) is an English cricketer who plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club in first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowls right arm medium-fast pace. [1] After several years on the fringes of the Essex XI,he was released in 2015. After a period out of the professional game,he impressed Hampshire when playing against their second XI,and he played for them in 2017. In July 2018 he was given a two-year contract by Durham having performed well during a loan period. [2] He joined Leicestershire for the 2023 season. [3]

In 2013,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,Group A of the 40-over Yorkshire Bank 40 and the South Group of the Friends Life t20. Kent also hosted a first-class match at the St Lawrence Ground against Cardiff MCCU at the start of the season and a T20 match against the touring New Zealanders in June. It was the second season in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams. The club captain was England spinner James Tredwell,taking over from Rob Key who had been club captain since 2006. Brendan Nash registered as a Kolpak player,ending his West Indies international career,which allowed Kent to sign another overseas player. South African fast bowler Vernon Philander filled this role,although he was only with the club for a short spell in July. In addition,Mitchell Claydon joined on loan from Durham on 11 June initially for one month,but this was extended for a second month.

Dickson was born in Johannesburg and made his first-class debut in South Africa before signing for Kent in July 2015,qualifying as a non-overseas player due to his British mother and UK passport. Dickson scored 318 for Kent in July 2017,the county's second highest individual score and making him one of only two men to have made a triple-century for Kent.

Primarily an aggressive right-handed batsman,he also bowls right-arm off spin. He made his Twenty20 debut for Derbyshire in the 2017 NatWest t20 Blast on 3 August 2017.

Matthew Edward Milnes is an English professional cricketer who currently plays for Yorkshire County Cricket Club,having moved from Kent at the end of the 2018 season. Milnes was born in Nottingham and grew up in the city and attended West Bridgford School in the city before going to Durham University. A seam bowler,he was part of the Nottinghamshire Academy programme before making his first-class cricket debut in April 2014 for Durham MCC University against Derbyshire. He received a Half-Palatinate for his cricketing activities at university.
The 2021 County Championship was the 121st cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. For the first phase of the tournament,the teams were split into three groups of six,with each side playing ten matches. The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
The 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that formed part of the 2021 English cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side,having List A cricket status,with all eighteen first-class counties competing in the tournament. The tournament started on 22 July 2021,with the final taking place on 19 August 2021 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Somerset were the defending champions winning the 2019 tournament,with no tournament taking place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
