Memories of a Beautiful Disaster is the debut studio album of American rock musician James Durbin, released on November 21, 2011 through Wind-up Records.
The name of the album was announced in late September 2011 by Durbin via a Twitter post, [1] and the cover was revealed on October 7. [2] The album was released on November 21, 2011 on Wind-up Records. [2] Howard Benson was the producer. [3]
Guitarist Mick Mars is a guest on one song from the album. [4] Other musicians involved with the album include songwriter Marti Frederiksen, Swedish band Hardcore Superstar and Sixx:A.M. members James Michael, and DJ Ashba. [5]
Two singles were initially released from the album. "Love Me Bad" was leaked online on October 19, 2011, [6] but was officially released on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on November 2. [7] The second single, "Stand Up", was originally written for Official Gameday Music of the NFL Vol. 1 and was released to rock radio stations. [8]

Allmusic gave Memories of a Beautiful Disaster a rating of three out of five stars, and said that while the album was "much more pop than rock," in contrast to Durbin's American Idol performances, it "does deliver the vocal goods here on material that should appeal to his AmIdol fan base." [9]
The album debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number 36 with first-week sales of 28,000. [10] The album has sold 123,000 copies in the US as of January 2017. [11]

Franky Perez is an American musician best known as a solo artist, touring vocalist of the Finnish metal band Apocalyptica, and as former guitarist for Scars on Broadway. He has also released three solo albums, Poor Man's Son, My 4th of July, and Addict, and performed with guitarist Slash in his live band before Slash assembled the touring band that backed him during his first full solo tour with Myles Kennedy. Perez has also collaborated with Slash's Velvet Revolver bandmate Dave Kushner, releasing songs under the pseudonym of DKFXP, as well as the virtual band Pusher Jones, contributing the song "Count Me Out" to The Avengers soundtrack.

Saint Asonia is a Canadian-American rock supergroup consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Gontier, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Cale Gontier, and drummer Cody Watkins. In 2017, the band's original drummer, Rich Beddoe, left the band and was replaced by Mushok's Staind bandmate Sal Giancarelli, and one year later bassist and backing vocalist Corey Lowery left the band to join Seether and his place was taken by Gontier's cousin Cale Gontier. The band formed in Toronto, Canada in 2015 after Gontier's departure from Three Days Grace in 2013. Their second studio album, titled Flawed Design, was released on October 25, 2019. On January 26, 2020, Art of Dying drummer Cody Watkins became the new drummer for Saint Asonia replacing Sal Giancarelli.
Road Rage is the thirteenth studio album from the Rock band Quiet Riot. This is the first album to feature American Idol alum James Durbin on lead vocals. The album was originally recorded with vocalist Seann Nicols, a former member of Adler's Appetite and Icon, and scheduled for release on April 21, 2017. Pre-orders for the album began on March 1, 2017, and the instant gratification track was titled "The Seeker". However, Nicols was fired from the band in March, and it was subsequently announced that the album would be postponed so that Nicols' vocals and lyrics could be replaced and re-recorded by Durbin. The track "The Seeker" was withdrawn from distribution at this point, and never saw release on the final version of Road Rage in any form. The album finally saw release on August 4, 2017. Billboard Magazine debuted the music video for the single "Can't Get Enough" directed by Regina Russell Banali on July 24, 2017
