Michael Tronick (born March 2, 1949) is an American film editor with more than 25 film credits. [1] He has been nominated twice for American Cinema Editors "Eddie" Awards for Scent of a Woman (1992) and for Hairspray (2007).

Since 2012, Tronick has served as a member of the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Editors Branch.

Tronick is a member of the academy's Science and Technology Council [2] and was previously selected for membership in the American Cinema Editors. [3]

The Academy Award for Best Film Editing is one of the annual awards of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). Nominations for this award are closely correlated with the Academy Award for Best Picture. Richard Halsey is an American film editor with more than 60 credits from 1970 onwards. An alumnus of Hollywood High School, he won an Academy Award for Best Film Editing at the 49th Academy Awards for editing Rocky with Scott Conrad, also being nominated for one BAFTA and one Emmy Award. He often works with his wife Colleen Halsey and they are credited together. Both have been elected to membership in American Cinema Editors (A.C.E.); Halsey has been a member since 1988. He is now living in the Hollywood Hills.

Pamela Martin is an American film and television editor with more than twenty-eight feature film credits since the 1990s. She is best known for her works on The Fighter, directed by David O. Russell, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, and King Richard, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, being nominated at the Satellite Award for Best Editing and earning her second Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing.

Michael Luciano was an American film and television editor with about forty feature film credits and many additional credits for television programs. From 1954 to 1977, Luciano edited 20 of the films directed, and often produced, by Robert Aldrich. Aldrich was a prolific and independent maker of popular films "who depicted corruption and evil unflinchingly, and pushed limits on violence throughout his career." Their early collaboration, the film noir Kiss Me Deadly (1955), was entered into the US National Film Registry in 1999; the unusual editing of the film has been noted by several critics. Luciano's work with Aldrich was recognized by four Academy Award nominations, for Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964), The Flight of the Phoenix (1965), The Dirty Dozen (1967), and The Longest Yard (1974).

David Ian Salter is an American film editor whose credits include Toy Story 2 (1999), Finding Nemo (2003), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), and The Addams Family (2019).

Kim Roberts, A.C.E., is an American filmmaker who has worked primarily on documentaries as a film editor and writer. Roberts has a master's degree in documentary film production from Stanford University (1996). Her first credit as an editor was for Long Night's Journey into Day (2000), which was directed by Deborah Hoffmann and Frances Reid and that was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. She was credited as both an editor and writer for Great Wall Across the Yangtze (2000), which was directed by Ellen Perry. Her work since then and several of her honors are sketched in the filmography below. Roberts was featured in a New York Times article on film editing in 2012. She has been selected for membership in the American Cinema Editors, which entitles editors to append "A.C.E." to their film credits.
