Neil John Lenham (born 17 December 1965) is a former English cricketer who played for Sussex and captained the England Under-19 cricket team in 3 Tests and 3 ODIs earlier in his career. He was born in Worthing.
Lenham played 192 first-class matches during his career,scoring 10,135 runs at an average of 33.44 in the process. He made 20 centuries with the highest being an unbeaten 222. With the ball,Lenham took 42 first-class wickets at an average of 43.97 with a best of 4 for 13.[ citation needed ]
In List A cricket he made 3,207 runs at an average of 31.13 with one century,an innings of 129 not out. He took 44 wickets at average of 31.59 with a best of 5 for 28.
After retiring from playing,Lenham took up coaching. He coached the Namibian national team at the 1997 ICC Trophy in Malaysia. [1]
Anil Kumble is a former Indian cricket captain,coach and commentator who played Test and One Day International cricket for his national team over an international career of 18 years. Widely regarded as one of the best leg spin bowlers in Test Cricket History,he took 619 wickets in Test cricket and is the fourth highest wicket taker of all time as of 2022. In 1999 while playing against Pakistan,Kumble dismissed all ten batsmen in a Test match innings,joining England's Jim Laker as the second player to achieve the feat. Unlike his contemporaries,Kumble was not a big turner of the ball,but relied primarily on pace,bounce,and accuracy. He was nicknamed "Apple" and "Jumbo". Kumble was selected as the Cricketer of the Year in 1993 Indian Cricket,and one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year three years later. Kumble was a member of the Indian team that was one of the joint-winners of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy,which the title was also shared with Sri Lanka.
Jacques Henry Kallis is a South African cricket coach and former cricketer. Widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time and as the greatest all-rounder ever to play the game,he is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium swing bowler. As of 2022,Kallis is the only cricketer in the history of the game to score more than 10,000 runs and take over 250 wickets in both ODI and Test match cricket. He also took 131 ODI catches. He scored 13,289 runs in his Test match career,took 292 wickets,and 200 catches. Kallis won 23 Man-of-the-Match awards,the most by any player in Test history.
Zaheer Khan is an Indian former professional cricketer who played all forms of the game for the Indian national team from 2000 till 2014. He is a fast-medium left-arm bowler. He was the second-most successful Indian pace bowler in Test cricket,behind Kapil Dev. Zaheer Khan started his domestic career by playing for Baroda. In 2011 he was conferred with the Arjuna Award,India's second highest sporting award by the President of India. Zaheer Khan's career is also noted for recurring injuries,which often interrupted his progress at the international level. That is also the reason Zaheer khan has set up ProSport Fitness &Services,a special rehab &training center in association with Adrian Le Roux and Andrew Leipus. In 2020,the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri.
