The M class is a series of 10 container ships built for OOCL with a maximum theoretical capacity of 13,208 TEU. The ships were built by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. Construction started in 2012 and the first ship was delivered in 2013.

The original order was for just 6 ships and was signed in April 2011. [1] Two months later it was announced that four additional ships would be ordered. They would be chartered to NYK Line for a length of three years. [2] After the charter ended the ships were renamed and they have since become a part of the OOCL fleet.

OOCL G-class container ship

The G class is a series of container ships built for OOCL. With a maximum theoretical capacity of 21,413 TEU they were the largest container ships in the world when they were built and the first ships with a capacity larger than 21,000 TEU. They took the title of largest container ships from Madrid Maersk. They have since been surpassed by other ships like the Gülsün class and the Algeciras class.

They are some of the largest container ships ever built and was the second class of ships to exceed 21,000 TEU of capacity after the OOCL G-class. At the time they were also the largest Chinese built container ships.

<i>Nuri</i>-class container ship

The Nuri class is a series of 8 containers ships built for HMM. The ships were built by Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea. The ships were ordered in 2018 together with the 12 ships from the Algeciras class and have a maximum theoretical capacity of 16,010 TEU. The first ship of this series is expected to enter into service in the second quarter 2021.

Evergreen F-class container ship

The EvergreenF class is a series of 20 container ships being built for Evergreen Marine. The ships have a maximal theoretical capacity of around 12,100 TEU. The first ship of this class was delivered in 2020 and built by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. Samsung Heavy Industries will build 8 ships in total. A further 12 ships will be built by Imabari Shipbuilding at their Marugame and Hiroshima shipyards with delivery starting in 2021.
