Cleveland, officially the City of Cleveland, is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Cuyahoga County. Located in Northeast Ohio along the southern shore of Lake Erie, it is situated across the U.S. maritime border with Canada and lies approximately 60 miles (97 km) west of Pennsylvania. Cleveland ranks as the most populous city on Lake Erie, the second-most populous city in Ohio, and the 54th-most populous city in the U.S. with a 2020 population of 372,624. The city anchors the Cleveland metropolitan area, the 33rd-largest in the U.S. at 2.18 million residents, as well as the larger Cleveland–Akron–Canton combined statistical area, the most populous in Ohio and the 17th-largest in the country with a population of 3.63 million in 2020.

It was established in 1964 and opened for classes in 1965 after acquiring the entirety of Fenn College, a private school that had been in operation since 1923. State Route 329 is a state highway located in southeastern Ohio. The route is signed as a north–south route though the shape of the road is more of a backwards C. The southern terminus of SR 329 is in the Rome Township community of Guysville at US 50 and SR 32. After traveling north through the Athens County communities of Stewart and Amesville, the route briefly enters Morgan County before re-entering Athens County and ending at SR 13 in the village of Trimble.

State Route 154 (SR 154) is a 16.27-mile-long (26.18 km) Ohio State Route that runs between Lisbon and the Pennsylvania state line in the US state of Ohio. Some of the highway is listed on the National Highway System. Most of the route is a rural two-lane highway and passes through both farmland and woodland. The highway was first signed in 1923 on a route that is now SR 517 and SR 558. SR 154 was rerouted in 1926 to its current alignment. Two section of the highway was paved in 1929, with the rest of the route was paved in 1933.

The COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed to have reached the U.S. state of Ohio on March 9, 2020, when the state's first cases were reported. The first death from COVID-19 in Ohio was reported on March 19. Subsequently, records supported by further testing showed that undetected cases had existed in Ohio since early January, with the first confirmed death on March 17. By April 23, Ohio had 656 confirmed deaths; by May 1, there were 1,002 confirmed deaths. Accurate data was difficult to obtain due to limited test availability. By December 12, a total of 553,461 cases had been reported leading to 31,803 hospitalizations and 7,477 deaths.
