Pamela Crowe

Pamela Mavis Crowe MBE is a former Member of the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man. [1] Prior to entering politics she was a director of Crowes Ltd and an author of several books. She was the MHK for Rushen from 1997 to 2003, when she was elected to the Legislative Council.

Awarded in the 2022 Birthday Honours with an MBE.

Betty Hanson was a Manx politician and teacher. Hanson served as a Member of the House of Keys (MHK), the lower house of the Tynwald from 1974 until 1982 for the Douglas West constituency. She was elected to the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man, the upper house of the Tynwald, in 1982, becoming the first woman ever elected to that particular legislature. She remained a member of the Legislative Council (MLC) until 1988.

David Alexander Callister, MLC was a Manx politician and broadcaster, who was a member of the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man. He defeated Pamela Crowe in 2008. He was also known as a broadcaster on Manx Radio.
