Nugent played quarterback at Tulane. [3] He died on November 26, 2019. [4]

Philip Brown is an English former professional footballer and coach who is currently the manager of Barrow. As a player, Brown was a right-back who made over six hundred league appearances in an eighteen-year career, but never made it to the top flight. However, as a manager, he became the first to lead Hull City to the top division in their 104-year history, winning the Championship play-offs in 2008 after a 1–0 win against Bristol City at Wembley Stadium. He also guided Southend United to promotion from League Two to League One in 2014–15.

Charles Fuqua Manuel Jr., is an American baseball coach for the Philadelphia Phillies, and a former professional baseball outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB), as well as a former Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) player. During his playing career, he appeared over parts of six MLB seasons for the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Dodgers, before playing another six seasons in NPB with the Yakult Swallows and Kintetsu Buffaloes. Over four successive seasons in NPB, Manuel hit at least .312 with 37 home runs each season and won the 1979 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award. After his playing career, he coached and managed the Cleveland Indians and managed the Philadelphia Phillies, winning the 2008 World Series over the Tampa Bay Rays. On August 13, 2019, Manuel replaced John Mallee as hitting coach for the Phillies for the remainder of the season.
