Tool is an American rock band from Los Angeles. Formed in 1990, the group's line-up includes vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones and drummer Danny Carey. Justin Chancellor has been the band's bassist since 1995, replacing their original bassist Paul D'Amour. Tool has won four Grammy Awards, performed worldwide tours, and produced albums topping the charts in several countries.

Opiate is an EP by American rock band Tool. It was produced and engineered by Sylvia Massy and former Minor Threat bassist Steve Hansgen. Released in 1992, it was the result of some two years of the band playing together after their formation in 1990. Opiate preceded Tool's first full-length release, Undertow, by a year. It is named after a quote by Karl Marx: "religion ... is the opiate of the masses". The EP was certified Platinum by the RIAA. The EP charted on several international charts when Tool released their catalog to online streaming in August 2019.
Green Jellÿ is an American comedy rock band formed in 1981. Originally named Green Jellö, the band changed its name due to legal pressure from Kraft Foods Inc., the owners of the Jell-O brand, who claimed that it was an infringement of their trademark. Despite the spelling difference, the new and old names are pronounced identically.
Paisley Underground is a musical genre that originated in California. It was particularly popular in Los Angeles, reaching a peak in the mid 1980s. Paisley Underground bands incorporated psychedelia, rich vocal harmonies and guitar interplay, owing a particular debt to 1960s groups such as Love and the Byrds, but more generally referencing a wide range of pop and garage rock revival.
Raji's was a rock and roll nightclub in central Hollywood, open in the 1980s and early 1990s. It was located in the Hastings Hotel building, 6160 Hollywood Blvd. The space had previously been occupied by a Greek restaurant called The King's Palace.

Volto! is an American rock jam band based in Los Angeles, California, United States. First formed in the early 2000s, the current band roster consists of Lance Morrison on bass, Danny Carey (Tool) on drums, Matt Rohde on keyboards, and John Ziegler on guitars. Carey and Ziegler played together in Pigmy Love Circus and in jam sessions at a jazz club in Southern California's San Fernando Valley with Morrison. Though the three musicians often played jazz fusion during the sessions, their music evolved to a sound more like progressive rock, as evidenced on their debut release Incitare.
John Ziegler aka "JohnZguitar" is an American guitarist based in Los Angeles, California who plays in the groups VOLTO!, Bubbatron, Pigmy Love Circus, and is host of the long-running "Monday Night Jamz" residency at The Baked Potato night club in Studio City, Los Angeles.
Haunted Garage was a horror punk and heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. Fronted by singer and B-movie actor Dukey Flyswatter, the band were recognized for their campy horror and science fiction-inspired songs and outrageous shock rock live shows featuring macabre props and costumes, go-go dancers and copious amounts of stage blood.

Fuzzy Little Piece of the World is an album by the American indie rock band Pontiac Brothers, released in 1992. A one-time reunion album, the band recorded it because they missed playing together.
