Pixel Federation, Ltd. is a Slovak game developer and publisher focusing on mobile and social networking platforms. It was founded in 2007 with headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia. [2] Notable titles they have published include Diggy's Adventure, Seaport, Train Station, and Emporea.

With the success of TrainStation in 2012, Pixel Federation became one of the top 20 Facebook game-developing studios in the EMEA region. [3] In 2017, it was recognized as the fast-growing tech startup in Central and Eastern Europe. [4] The company has over 300 employees and has earned more than €50,900,000 in revenues. [5]

Machinarium is a puzzle point-and-click adventure game developed by Amanita Design. It was released on 16 October 2009 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, on 8 September 2011 for iPad 2 on the App Store, on 21 November 2011 for BlackBerry PlayBook, on 10 May 2012 for Android, on 6 September 2012 on PlayStation 3's PlayStation Network in Europe, on 9 October 2012 in North America and on 18 October 2012 in Asia, and was also released for PlayStation Vita on 26 March 2013 in North America, on 1 May 2013 in Europe and on 7 May 2013 in Asia. nDreams Video game company

nDreams, Ltd. is a company that develops and publishes video games. It is located in Farnborough, Hampshire in the United Kingdom. The company was formed in August 2006 by former SCi and Eidos creative director, Patrick O'Luanaigh. Since formation, the developer has worked on numerous projects for different video game platforms, initially PlayStation Home, the virtual world on Sony's PlayStation 3 console, where they grew to become one of the leading publishers. From late 2013 nDreams began working on content for virtual reality (VR) headsets, such as Sony's PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR. nDreams has stated that they are now entirely focused on developing content for virtual reality.

A remake of the 2001 game of the same name, it was initially released for Android on November 2015 in Korea, and iOS on the following month. A port for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 was released in August 2017, published by ROI Games in Korea, PQube in North America and Europe, and Arc System Works in Japan. It is the second remake of White Day, with the first being a 2009 2D adventure-horror game utilizing still images for mobile phones titled White Day Mobile, which was released only in South Korea by Ntreev Soft, who shares the copyright of this game.

The Oculus Go was unveiled on October 11, 2017 during the Oculus Connect developer conference, and released on May 1, 2018. Xiaomi launched their own version of the headset in China as the Mi VR Standalone on May 31, 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Defiant Development</span> Australian video game developer

Defiant Development Pty Ltd was an Australian independent video game developer based in Brisbane. It was formed in May 2010 by Morgan Jaffit and Dan Treble, veterans of Pandemic Studios, in the aftermath of the closures of several larger video game studios in the country. Defiant primarily developed mobile games until 2013, when it moved to larger projects with Hand of Fate. The game was released in 2015 following a successful Kickstarter campaign and an early access phase, and it was followed by a sequel, Hand of Fate 2, in 2017. Defiant avoided "crunch" and Jaffit was outspoken about his opposition to the practice, as well as his support for a trade union. In July 2019, the studio was wound down due to what Jaffit called a "risky" business model and failure to adapt to changing market conditions. The studio ceased game development, thereby cancelling The World in My Attic, and planned to further support its existing games.

<i>Mekorama</i> Puzzle video game

Mekorama is a puzzle game developed by indie developer Martin Magni. Players control the movement of a robot through paths and various obstacles to reach the end of a level by tapping or clicking the screen. The game features a level editing tool, where players can create custom levels and share them online. The game was initially released for iOS and Android in 2016 and was later ported to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One in 2020.
